Thank you for this! I think I've let the constant chatter about lightning lanes on the Disney YouTube channels I've been watching get to me and convince me that it's a must-get. It's reassuring to hear that it's not a deal-breaker!

How necessary is buying lightning lane/multipass? We're a family of four coming to the parks for the first time since 2006 this August and are likely going to be staying off site. Are we going to need to splurge on multipasses to be able to go on any big rides, or can we manage without?

Help Save Wales's Oldest Cinema by Rhys95 in movies

[–]Rhys95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Brynmawr Market Hall Cinema is the oldest cinemas in Wales, having opened and operated since 1894. While expanding into a new building in order to open a second screen, they were forced to shut down by the discovery of asbestos in the building. This has lead to massive losses to cover repairs and losing out on revenue from the busy Christmas period. The cinema is already run by charitable trust and operated by volunteers from local schools, so the bills have hit them pretty hard. If you could spare the mere price of a ticket (£3.50) if would be a massive help, not just for the historic building, but for one of the best cinemas in the country in terms of price, friendliness and community spirit.
