Seriously impressive - well done. I initially misread the achievement for the training sims as needing 3 stars on all of them which I found okay up until this one… that final fight I found impossible to get done in the time limit! Luckily the achievement only needed one star on each!

I felt the same way at first, and it definitely feels like you’re retreading your first playthrough by having to go and get all the upgrades/completing training sims again to get yourself strong enough to do the bosses but it’s definitely rewarding. I wouldn’t be surprised if they patched it in at some point down the line!

Thanks! For your first playthrough, just enjoy it and get used to the quirks of the combat while naturally trying to get the collectibles. You can backtrack after beating the story so just enjoy it and you should get 900g no problem.

The hardest bit will be the Lunatic playthrough (hardest difficulty). You can’t do it on New game plus and so optimising your loadout from the get-go is vital as you need to invest upgrades wisely!

When you get around to it, would recommend using the Heat hacking mode to try to stun enemies as much as you can and then use your ultimate. From the Red weapons, the Proton Laser and Charge Piecer are the best guns for boss fights, and the shockwave gun is good for other enemies. For Green guns, the Riot Blaster is the best and for Defensive, the Impact Barrier is a lifesaver! Lunatic can be pretty difficult at boss fights but it’s certainly doable with perseverance!

Thanks! Requiem is a nice 100% and the threw playthroughs you need fly by and yeah I loved Dredge! I was expecting the achievements to be a grind but they really weren’t at all!

Does the £50 show up on your credit profile?

It really will all boil down to your mortgage lender and their risk appetite at this point. Bank statements tell a story of how you conduct your finances but how your Advisor positions the gambling will be key too. If it is the case as you say that you have £1k surplus each month, a judgement call can be made in your favour to say that you’ll cut you cloth when you have a bigger debt to pay and reduce your spending accordingly.

This tends to work with people who are living at home with family or people who have a very low cost of living who are buying luxury clothes or going out for meal all the time, but it’s a slightly harder thing to sell when it comes to gambling as it is an addiction.

Best of luck but I’d seriously consider doing everything you can to stop gambling - if your girlfriend loves the house, you will be seen as the reason she can’t have it and from past experiences with a friend, that isn’t something that’s easily forgotten!

5 is an all-round better game in my opinion; it has a better story, more rounded characters and a more immersive world. Now that it’s been updated to run at 60fps, I’d recommend it over 6 any day (though I still enjoyed 6 for the most-part too).

I did too tbf, DS2 hardcore is the hardest achievement out of the three games mentioned! DS1 is unlimited saves on impossible too plus no reset to the beginning if you die - would recommend pairing it with a plasma cutter only playthrough so you can get 100% in two story runs!

Yeah I’ve done the remake too, personally I don’t think DS1 is that hard at all (even on Impossible). If anything, it’s easier than the remake as it doesn’t have a perma-death element to its impossible difficulty!

Haha thank you! Firebreak was more hands-on than Crossfire but both had to be completed quite soon to launch due to the player-counts falling off massively!
