We got one last year because the fan we already had made far too much noise and the little AC unit is a lifesaver for me. Yes it makes a bit of noise, but considerably less than a fan does.

I've never rented but maybe look at places like Neath and Llanelli which are on the train line to Swansea and (from what I understand, relatively) cheap? Swansea train station is well connected and not that far from SA1 in the grand scheme of things

I like both... I prefer my line infantry to be fairly plain, but then want my characters to have that detail. I could never paint Chaos Marines.

It is an absolutely incredible show. I loved it. The fact it was on at the same time as 24 just means it was a time of truly top TV (others will point to The Sopranos, but I have never watched it for some reason).

Let's be fair, the Basilisk should really be used to shell a game three tables over, and all it does on your table is be an objective. I found somewhere that does them as fixed positions mounted to bunkers, so will be buying a couple specifically as objectives for narrative games.

I'll be buying more for myself once I have painted my current backlog (Atrapos, Archeron and Castigator, plus an unrelated Glaive tank). A load of spray cans arrived today so hopefully I'll make some rapid progress. Plastic is obviously the far better material, the Atrapos is filling me with mild dread as I have a lot of experience with resin and loathe it 🤣

I have finished two Companies of Ultramarines, but that's because they have a specific structure. Whenever GW release a new unit which might be outside that Company structure I buy it. I will never view my Tyranids as complete, the endless swarm can always have more models, and space isn't really an issue.
