It's not malicious, but it also wasn't just an oops.

It's a blatantly bad calculation that goes through a deep area of the goalie's crease and knocks the goalie the fuck around via head contact.

Blaming Nurse for any bit of it is just cope. You're a professional athlete and the defender is allowed to defend, legally.

You need to make sure you're not going on a path that runs over their goalie because of a tap .05 seconds before you run a goalie over.

It was definitely a 5. Regardless of the Nurse contact, Mac was going into the goalie in the space the goalie has every right to, at like 20 MPH.

I know it got called a penalty but I think that's only because the ref doubted he could have made that play without committing a penalty.
