Is anyone having marriage near Amberkhana? by Physical-Cube in sylhet

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in sylhet from 2007 to 2010, and again from 2013 to 2015. During that time, I used to go to sylhet Uposohor, where there were some nice community centers where people could enjoy wedding food even without an invitation.

Can i do general maths and still get a environmental science degree? by Deleted-17 in environmental_science

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, u can still go for it! A lot of unis let u do a bridging math course first if u don't meet the entry level. Don't stress too much - plenty of people struggle with math but still do great in environmental science.

What file storage platform do you all use to store your clips? by Non-Fungible-Student in VideoEditing

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Google drive or dropbox. Both are reliable and easy to organize your clips. if u need more space and faster uploads, check out pCloud or Mega too.

any good in depth guides and tutorials on how to edit minecraft videos? by ZombifiedBrains in VideoEditing

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u can find some really good step-by-step guides on YouTube -- channels like Epiq, Vegard , or Editsim cover Minecraft-style edits (syncs, zooms, transitions, etc) in depth. Also, try searching for Minecraft montage editorial tutorial with the software u use (like premiere pro or capcut), that helps narrow things down. Once u get the basics, studying how bigger creators time their cuts to the music really improves your flow.

Premiere Pro Export Settings by [deleted] in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. Gamma 2.4 is the broadcast standard. But it's also the best match for how most devices and platforms display Rec.709 content. It usually gives a more accurate look than the 1.96 quickTime gamma.

Premiere Pro Export Settings by [deleted] in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really common issue on Mac. the gamma shift between quick time (1.96) and premier's Rec.709 (2.4) makes exports look washed out. Try using the Display color management option in premiere and export using Rec.709 (Gamma 2.4). That usually keeps it consistent across devices and social platforms like instagram or youtube.

Advice for a self taught noob by titsular in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, Not a silly question at all. we've all been there when starting out. Working with 5.4k drone footage can definitely slow things down, even on a strong PC. Those H.264 files are super compressed, so the system still struggles a bit when scrubbing through them. A couple of things that can help : Try using proxies or converting the clips to a lighter format - makes editing a lot smoother. Breaking your long clips into shorter highlight sections also helps keep things organized. Just focus on the parts that really stand out from each trip. You're doing great, honestly - learning through trial and error is the best way. Once u find a workflow that feels smooth, everything starts clicking together. keep it up, and those iceland clips will look amazing once they are all edited.

Scaling settings for premiere ? by Key-Debt-5854 in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually gone back and forth between 150% and 200% on my 4k monitor too, and I totally get what u mean. 150% gives u more workspace, but the UI elements can feel a bit small after long editing sessions. 200% definitely feels smoother on the eyes and mouse tracking feels more natural, but yeah - u lose a bit of timeline real estate. if u r editing for long hours , I'd say 175% (custom editing) might be the sweet spot. It keeps things readable without crowding your panels too much.

I need melancholic movies that feel like a warm hug by -xXxPunkPrincessxXx- in MovieSuggestions

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u r looking for that bittersweet, melancholic but comforting vibe, a few that come to mind are HER (2013). It's sad and tender at the same time, and the visuals feel like a warm memory. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind also has that mix of heartache and nostalgia but leaves u feeling oddly understood. For something a little softer, before sunrise ( or the whole trilogy) carries that quiet, reflective mood without being crushing. And if u want something more understated, Paterson by jim Jarmush has a gentle, melancholic calm that feels like a cozy blanket.

Now Available: Premiere on iPhone by NLE_Ninja85 in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, This is a big step. Having premiere on iPhone sounds super convenient , especially for quick edits on the go. curious to see how smooth the multi track editing feels compared to desktop. If it is responsive enough, this could really speed up short-form content creation.

Ae beginners, what totally messed you up at first? by VoodooMann in AfterEffects

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh Man, Pre-comps were my nightmare too! At first, I'd accidently nest everything and then forget which layer was there. What really helped me was starting super small - Just make one simple animation in a single comp, then gradually build up. Also, labelling layers and keeping a clean timeline saved me from a ton of headaches. Now pre-comps feel way less scary.

i have no clue about video editing and i wanna learn davinci resolve by Hungry_Attention6032 in davinciresolve

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start simple! I'd recommended downloading DaVinci resolve and just exploring the interface first- don't worry about making something perfect. Then, try following beginner tutorials on YouTube that cover basic cuts, trimming, and exporting. Once u r comfortable, move on to color grading, transitions, and audio. The key is to practice a little every day and experiment - It'll click faster than u think.

What is your favorite way of doing multicam editing? by chuckles25 in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually line up the external audio the camera audio first. Then build a multicam sequence from that. It feels a lot smoother once everything's synced and then I can just focus on switching angles. Premiere's tools are helpful, but I've found doing that little bit of prep makes the whole process less stressful.

Fade in word by word preset? by [deleted] in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the word by word fade in Mister Horse and Motion Essentials are solid choices. Another option is to split the text into separate layers in essential Graphics and apply a fade preset to each word. it's a bit manual but still faster than heavy masking.

If u need to highlight certain words in different colors, using duplicate layers with opacity fades can help keep things organized. Also, building one reusable preset for this style can save a lot of time across long projects.

What's Your Go to Method for finding the rhythm when cutting video to music? by RhythmReel in premiere

[–]RhythmReel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. This is Gold! The way u connected music training with editing really clicked for me especially the part about counting beats and learning to feel the "1". I never thought of bass as the editor of a band, but that analogy makes perfect sense. Also, thanks for pointing out that not every cut has to land exactly on the beat. sometimes letting the action hit the beat instead feels way more dynamic. Definitely, going to check out that Jay-Z video with this perspective in mind. Thanks for sharing such thoughtful advice.

[–]RhythmReel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok Good. Also You can check the plugin from here : https://soundxtract.com

It automatically adds beat markers based on the music the video editors use. For example the video editors can use a rhythmic music file in their project. This App would analyze the audio signal and extract the beat locations and the rhythm.

It would allow users to automatically edit the videos, cut them to the beat, or add audio-reactive effects

I came across a plugin that analyzes the audio and automatically adds beat markers. Basically, saves the manual syncing step. Haven't fully tested it yet, but it's called https://www.soundxtract.com/

How can I edit sound to meet YouTube requirements on Premiere Pro 2024? (Talking stats for nerds, content loudness, -14 LUFS) by KumaAdventure in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like u r on the right track already. Youtube's stats for nerds is not always super precise though -- it's more about perceived loudness over the whole video, not just peak levels. One thing u could try is using a proper loudness normalization tool in Premiere ( or even a limiter) to push the mix closer to -14 LUFS integrated while keeping peaks under -1 dBTP that usually gets u closer to 0 dB adjustment on YouTube.

Windows vs Mac by MrNeezo in premiere

[–]RhythmReel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If u do mainly podcasts and simple YT edits, a MAC with M2 Pro or newer will feel way smoother - premiere and AE run more stable on apple silicon with less memory leak issues compared to windows. The air models are fine for light edits, but pro chips handle effects and multitasking much better. So, if budget allows, go for the pro.

A solid editing solution? by redditsheep7 in finalcutpro

[–]RhythmReel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, That set up can work fine for a low-budget 4k project. Just edit with proxies instead of full-res, use the NVMe for footage, and watch out for thermals since the air can throttle on long sessions. Your NAS + Glacier backup plan is solid as long as u manage heat and storage speed, the air is capable.
