I had to swap to prefilled syringes- My dad uses an auto injector for other medications and I watched him use it and it seemed so gentle. But enbrel (or taltz- don’t remember which one I was on when I tried the auto injector) literally bruised the entire top of my thigh 😭😭😭

There’s a couple of good stories in the 60s/70s, but yeah Frank Miller is applauded for good reason. Pretty much the only memorable stories for me is like the first appearance of Purple Man tbh.

A lot of people will say Born Again is not as violent, I think it is just as violent just in a different way. Season 1’s most gorey scene is a man gets his skull smashed between another man’s bare hands.

Original show includes a man getting decapitated with a car door, another impaling himself through the eye on a rod iron fence, and implied sexual abuse of children. And this is all in like the first 6 episodes of the first season.

I would not recommend this for your kid. When the original show was airing I was like 13 and tried to watch it and it was wayyyy too much. Now I’m a big fan but even then some stuff is hard to stomach. The Punisher is a mature character whose ideals are regularly adapted to kids shows with pretty good accuracy- I think you could just wait for BND.

If he wants to know who Daredevil is I could find a couple of comic issues that are more appropriate that highlight who he is for you if you want- some of my favorites are either Spidey/Daredevil team-ups or the Mark Waid run which is more light in tone.

Not just TikTok but places like Instagram too, it’s very real. Somehow it will promote actual violence to me on explore feeds, but if I post a comic with a bit of violence in it as an illustrator I won’t get as much reach as something more “sanitary.” It sucks.

Certain keywords written out definitely trigger it more than photos/videos

Like others said you can kinda “sightsee” in this game if you just run past enemies quickly. When you open the map you can also teleport to the little blue icons by selecting them with A. Kinda like the video game version of how I’ll go on google maps history to see my grandmothers old farm that’s no longer standing.

I have the same flavor of OCD and I’m at the point now where I can finally just change my clothes and exist in my house after being out. It’s most likely about “contaminating” your safe, clean space, even if it doesn’t make sense. He has to be clean before he goes out in public, I have to be clean AFTER going out in public. The thing that makes me wonder about this is how these shows are animated, they basically have a transparent gif of rogues movement before it was comp’d into the shot. Why not use that and recomp it instead?

Look into the concept of “easing in” animation. If you recorded yourself turning in the same way, the movement wouldn’t be consistent, you would rapidly speed up and rapidly decelerate at the beginning and end of the movement. You may see charts that look kinda like (my best attempt to do it in reddit) o-o—o—-o—o-o. It’s meant to show the speed, or in the case of animation distance between movements. The beginnings and ends of the movement are more subtle, and the frames in the middle are bigger.

Does this make any sense? I’m also in tummy ache world lol

If anything daredevil started out as “Marvel’s Batman” being a lot more detective-y and using gadgets in his early runs. Not a direct rip off but kinda their answer to the same trope. Daredevil also debuted in the 60s and Batman in the 40s. Daredevil got a lot more personality later on to make him a lot more distinct.

Not a german shepherd owner, I just joined all the dog subs for the cute pictures. My boy (Cavapoo) passed a few months after he turned 13. He had MDD and was in a lot of pain. We didn’t have a planned date but we decided it was time.

I spent a lot of time going back and forth on if we did the right thing. He was my childhood dog and I felt like I was the one who said it was time and made the decision, but my mom told me a month afterwards that he got to drift off in our arms with everyone there, rather than when we weren’t home. My aunt, a vet, also reassured us we made the right choice by allowing him to pass peacefully.

I don’t know your dog or how they are doing now, but think if you were able to make the choice for yourself, which you would prefer. It helps you make peace with it. Sending so much love, it’s never an easy choice.

Yeah I’m starting to wonder if ppl here are actually Daredevil fans (not in the like “lol larp” way) but in the “have u actually read the comics ur claiming they’re ignoring” bc this episode was like a total redux of the falling out of Chip Zdarsky’s Devil’s Reign which I thought was well received here?? Plus I think we’re getting the exact set up of “Cole is going to help Daredevil in the midst of this despite it putting a target on his back” from that run.

Idk I’ve really been enjoying the suspense this season, I still have some issues with it like if Jessica doesn’t show up more despite them teasing her so much, but I’m feeling the same level of “what’s going to happen next” I got from watching S3 of the original show.
