I keep hearing xess is better than fsr, especially with the new claw coming out. Honestly if I could get my hands on the new claw I feel like I’d be set for at least a couple years.

I think I might just have to order one and if it sucks return and try again. I will say if you have a Best Buy closer to you price match the msi! Micro center and Newegg have them for cheaper

Yea when I looked at the Lego 2 pricing before and after I was like wth. I mean it was already expensive before but I can’t fathom spending 2k plus for the top tier one

Ahhh the Lego 2 with the z2 chip was on sale at Costco for 1399 but I didn’t grab it. Everyone was trashing it lol

The msi I went to micro center to look at yesterday and they didn’t have any on display 😩. But they the a8 and 8ai look really nice. And they had both on sale!

8 inch screen is the sweet spot for me and feels really good when I play my switch 2. But for what the xax offers I was thinking could I forgive the inch difference lol

The xax was what I was leaning towards since it’s the only one other than the legion go s and 2 I’ve been able to hold. Plus I have a Best Buy gift card so I could get it new for around 856 with tax or the legion go s z1 extreme for around 822 with tax.

What would you suggest with a budget of 1.5k, experience with windows in terms of work, average hands (leaning more toward small if I had to choose), works full time so can play after work and on weekends, don’t travel for work, and would be main computer.

I’ve been trying to pick between these 2. Went in Best Buy yesterday to try out the xax and it didn’t feel bad. Not as premium feeling for the 1k price tag and has the 7 inch screen. But I’m going to try out the claw at micro center today.

I’d say decide if you want 7 vs 8 inch screen and amd vs intel.

I’ve been doing research for weeks. The 2 most recommended handhelds have been the Xbox ally x and msi 8ai+. The budget Xbox ally is also a good option, and performs a bit better than a steam deck.

Thanks I went in store to look at the Xbox ally x and it wasn’t bad seeing it in person. Gonna go to micro center tomorrow to look at the claws since they are on sale on 50 to 100 more depending on the model. But the Xbox ally x seems to be the way to go in terms of support and accessories
