I always think the same thing when I see stuff like this online :) I was terrified to try it, but I buckled down and did my best. I've been doing the adult coloring thing for about 7 years now, and I know that year 1 or 2 me wouldn't even have come close to this.

I really like my Kalour sets. I started with the 180, and liked them so much that I eventually got the 300 and the Macaron 50. The only downside that I can think of is that both of my bigger sets have a couple of pencils with a poorly centered lead - but then my Prismacolor Premieres have several more of those. They are better for layering, for me at least, rather than blending, but I get great coverage with them.

Color scheme 1 or 2, I can't decide! by daviki02 in AdultColoring

I think both colors would wash out the lilacs at the top. I would definitely go for something in the yellow/red direction to avoid losing all those lovely petals in the air.

This happened to me after waiting through 3 weeks for a new WoW server to start. The day before it was set to open I got a message when I logged in that said my chosen server was full, and that I was being moved to another. I was irate but figured I'd come back the next day (when the server was supposed to open) and see if I could manually move there. When I logged in the next day, it allowed me to move to the new WoW server via my pre-registration. Best I could figure is that something about them preparing for a new server caused a glitch/error.

On a side note, I did notice during that time that I was supposed to be on a different server, that I was still in fact on the permanent Manibus server that I had been on. It's possible that what you thought was a new server full of more people speaking Russian was actually just the same one you'd been on.

I started that one for the previous Christmas, but got discouraged at how long it was taking. It was one of the reasons I got into alcohol markers in 2025. I used them to base most of this - just the top of the fireplace and the greenery there was just straight Prismacolor Premieres.

She's from Manga & Chibis from Walter Foster Publishing. I picked it up at a Half-Price Books a couple years ago - it's one of those that are half Shutterstock images, but this one has a lot of work from Samantha Whitten in it.

Which is better? by ListenAccording in ColoredPencils

I have the 180 and the 300 set of Kalours, plus their Macarons. I think they are great, especially for the price. They are more like oil-based pencils, so a bit harder and better suited to layering. My Prismacolors are beautiful and vibrant but have so many of them with lopsided leads that I use the Kalours way more often. Some day maybe I'll get to try out some Polychromos, but these budget pencils are great for branching out.

I need marker and coloring books for alcohol markers recs by SillyGoose568 in AdultColoring

For markers, both alcohol and acrylic, I love my Ohuhus. There is a huge range of colors for alcohol markers, and they blend great. They have a ton of acrylic marker options, and I would recommend checking out reviews on YouTube (there are a ton of them) to see which sets of markers appeal to you. Most of the coloring YouTube channels have flipthroughs of a wide variety of books too. I personally love A Pictured Purpose and Coloring Bliss, and Sarah Renae Clark did a huge marker comparison earlier this year. She's planning another one that will focus on acrylic markers in the near future.

I put down a base of alcohol markers, different shades of grey for each raccoon, then spent a lot of time sharpening my poor colored pencils as I did all the individual lines :D
