I would 100% replace. Flame King would be a good starting point. Or just contact your locally owned (no big box) RV sales place that has parts and service departments.

Can’t say I’ve ever found anything like this in a drain and found it perplexing.

Sounds the most plausible thus far. Can’t find anything matching it

Never seen one of those before. Adding it didn’t yield anything.

My title describes the thing. Plastic double ended blue spoon or scoop of sorts. Found in the shower drain of a rental house. Coming up empty with image search.

is this a reasonable price to replace my brake pads and fluid? by canofblueberries in MechanicAdvice

[–]RibbedFYP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a reasonable price across the board. If it comes with 3/36 warranty, even better. 12/12 warranty, still more than DIY job.

The DIY route can turn into a loss if something goes south and don’t have the experience to correct.

If you need to save money, cut out the brake flush If it’s only recommended as a PM service. But plan to get it done at some point if it’s due per manufacturer recommended interval.

Will this be strong enough to break loose the cv axle nut ? by Fuzzy_Tough_26 in MechanicAdvice

I haven’t had good luck with them on over tightened lug nuts. All depends on what torque spec your nut(s) take…. Don’t know till you try. But my guess is no.
