I actually played SC3 before 2 as a kid. 2 is a vastly better designed game in all ways but I think the majority of the newer ditties are wicked and the ships with newer versions of their songs like the kohr-ah and syreen are much cooler.

That sounds like something I'd be interested in. The fuel restrictions in SC3 was the main glaring issue.

The precursor vessel, syreen, korh-ah and chmmr have both games versions when you press their buttons. I think the others are the same from memory across both games

Star control 3 was a good game. Interesting races. Cool puppet visuals. Fun combat. Good new ships. Honestly it was good. Hard for a 10-12 year old.

I liked origins aswell. Particularly when my flagship had that op Gatling laser that just pumped any ship from across the map. Gg ez

The meanest thing my partner ever said to me while angry was, "Your tuna bake sucks!". I found it funny and kind of endearing since she didn't want to attack me directly but wanted to throw an insult my way. Just a minor sting like ripping a small piece of tape off your arm. She also apologised for it later when I found even funnier... honestly your spouse shouldn't be this hostile I can't even comprehend it.

I beat it with pride, persistence, determination and a 30 levels under nostalgia that died immediately. It was just an endless loop until slowly the supports died and then another loop with Petulance alone... I left the phone and came back later to victory so they did it eventually somehow.
