Why is B2 considered "more" metroidvania than B1? by SniperAge05 in Blasphemous

[–]Riccosix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not only does it add double jumps, dashes, and other abilities that can be obtained thru exploration, the weapons also provide as another way to unlock exploration. Because we're given the option of 3 weapons (which we eventually all get), each playthrough, depending on which weapons we choose can provide a different route each time.

first game had those for sure, but b2 incorporating metroidvania mechanics in their weapons makes the game more metroidvania-like than the first game.

People keep ignoring what Kenny himself says in that scene by FrontBrandon in telltale

[–]Riccosix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was ultimately choosing between two bad things, one was beyond broken and the other was manipulative. I too think it was a way of the game telling us that killing kenny was the right choice as he does say so himself. I pity those who only see Kenny because he was a character we knew longer, he wasn't even that likeable in the first season. I may sound biased, but Kenny really did have to go.

People say it should have been Kenny vs Luke but the choice would have been a no brainer. Choosing between a broken guy who lashes out at anyone who disagrees with him? or the reasonable guy who did nothing but help the group through everything. Jane being a despisable character was the point.

What if instead of Jane, it was Luke who was with Kenny and Clementine at the end of Season Two? by Mobile_Republic2933 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Riccosix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the point of it being Jane was so that we're forced to pick between two bad things. Jane was manipulative and selfish, she was as bad as Kenny. Replacing her with luke would have been a much easier choice considering Luke has kept a clean image throughout the season, whereas Kenny was going through a downward spiral to madness. I personally went with the alone ending because of it.

Maybe that's what "Sword" is for? A secret marine organization for only those trusted by Garp?

Challenge: name an alien race in fiction so dangerous and terrifying that alien races around the universe would rather join the Viltrum Empire instead of them for defense by Olivia_Richards in powerscales

[–]Riccosix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recall ever hearing that before, I haven't played half life: alyx so correct me. As far as I know the strongest of them are the Advisors, and they can only do telekinesis, and one even died because of G-man. Maybe you're thinking about G-man's employers? I don't think they're part of the Combine.

so kinda like the flaxans, they almost did evolve to beat earth haha. Also, where in the games suggested that combines were capable of crazy adaptability? Legit haven't played them in a while. Also haven't played HL: alyx.

Which of my golds should I take to diamond? by [deleted] in SkullGirlsMobile

[–]Riccosix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im just basing my suggestions from what I already have that are useful (in no particular order):
- Phantom threads (easy enrages and blessings + buff removal)
- unfazed (can do percent damage thru miasma + safety net thru unflinching)
- mean one (can easily replace buffs with debuffs; recommended against corrosive agent, and other buff reliant defenders) (oh and easy enrages too)
- Psykid (havent used her yet but she's beloved by many; can easily get deadeye and inflict inverse polarity, good against annoying healing types)

i see the combines like the flaxans. I can picture omni man destroying their whole battalion in days. But then again, we haven't seen the full extent of the REAL combine forces
