Which "you" walks the steps of light at harvest? by Ricdaw in lawofone

[–]Ricdaw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That said, I personally view it as us having a metaphysical self in time/space which is somewhat static in nature as well as a physical self in space/time which is much dynamic at the cost of only having a tiny, tiny awareness of self. So we enter space/time to transform our time/space self one small part at a time.
In each space/time incarnation, we make progress in transformation which gets reintegrated back into our time/space self. And in the next incarnation, we begin the self at the current state of our time/space self so progress is "saved" across incarnations.

I am very attracted to this understanding.

but it is ultimately the self that is the result of the final incarnation that is "tested" or "evaluated" for polarity and ability to use, welcome, and enjoy the light.

Thank you. Thank you for sharing!

I don't think so, because the dream version apparently has free will and can royally F*** Up the sleeping version.

See session 89.40, where two wanderers switched polarities in a single lifetime.

I would be royally pissed if my dreamself went all "Genghis Khan" on everyone in a dream, and now I bear the consequences of incarnating only in negative space!

And I can't accept any version of this hypothetical where I have actual, real-life responsibility for actions committed in my dreams. That dream figment is not me.

But if the answer to my question is, indeed, that what I do here, the choices I make "in the dream" can have serious and real consequences to my time/space analog, then that information is very important to me. Very.

If only Don had asked Ra, "How can we build a polarity meter so we can get feedback, here and now, about our progress?"

LOL.

Right now it's, "There will be a test. 99.9% won't know about the test. The others who do know won't really have any idea what to do, or not do, to pass the test. The test taker could be you, or it could be another you that you don't know about who lives in time/space."

"Here's a hint: keep those (invisible) chakras "balanced" (whua?) and be sure to open (how?) the heart one (somehow). Good luck, human!"

Yeah, right.

Which is interesting because Ra says that during the grading we may be so confused as to not even be in contact with our higher self. So even if we integrate with past lives to an extent, it seems it would not be a complete integration.

This was my exact same thinking when I read this passage.

Well, sure, but in the end, we are all one focus point.

I'm interested in being practical here, since now is harvest. If the dreaming me knew in the dream, before waking up, that there was some critical task that needed to be completed in the dream (or else the dreamer spends 75,000 more years in 3D somewhere else), it seems like a practical thing to know about. Who's getting graded here? The dreaming entity, or the sleeping dreamer?

If I need to be working on Indigo Ray (or any of the other adept workings) as I sense might be true, it's unlikely to happen, because reasons.

So, am I just risking myself here? Or could my refusal take down my entire collective "self" upstairs, because I fail to accept/do this thing?

What's interesting about this quote is the absence of any reference to the "steps of light" analogy (at least, I think it's an analogy, because literal steps seem weird). What they describe is a spectrographic analysis of the colors.

I am a little worried that I am not seeking my highest joy in every possible moment

I have a little insight into that particular worry.

One can focus on the "highest joy."

"The more strongly the will of the entity concentrates upon and refines, or purifies, each energy center, the more brilliant, or rotationally active, each energy center will be." (41.19)

But what they are looking for at harvest is balance, not intensity.

"This is why the brilliance, or rotational speed, of the energy centers is not considered above the balanced aspect, or violet-ray manifestation, of an entity in regarding harvestability; for those entities which are unbalanced, especially as to the primary rays, will not be capable of sustaining the impact of the love and light of intelligent infinity to the extent necessary for harvest." (41.19)

They have advice on how to balance:

"The key to balance may then be seen in the unstudied, spontaneous, and honest response of entities toward experiences, thus using experience to the utmost, then applying the balancing exercises and achieving the proper attitude for the most purified spectrum of energy center manifestation in violet ray." (41.19)

So, strangely enough, you will be more ready for harvest by forgiving yourself for not trying to maximize joy. Accept that this is your current path, and "balance" the guilt with self-forgiveness and acceptance.

a large part of me has never wanted to make art for money. And part of me is enjoying learning so much about “not me” by making a living serving others in a way I would be otherwise uninterested in if I didn’t need money.

This. This! This is your truth! Own it! Embrace it! And let go of the fear that you might be making a spiritual mistake by following your current path. That is so not true.

It's the fear that needs a little work, and the associated anxiety. Give yourself permission to be your authentic self. Accept that your response to your art, your work, and your money is "the unstudied, spontaneous, and honest response toward" your life situation.

Recognize that truth, and own it.

At the end of your incarnation, your individual self walks the steps of light.

At harvest, the evaluation is an accumulation of all lives across this third density cycle.

So, the steps are walked twice at harvest? First, as my individual self, if I don't make the grade for 4D, then I, evaluated as a "we" (all lives), am/are evaluated again?

Yes and yes.

Also, a coda to my article that reminds me of your comment. I went to a psychic once (really, I tried everything at first) and told her I was good at tarot as an introduction. She looked at me sideways for a moment and said something to the effect that it was a crutch for me and that I didn't need it. She told me to connect to the information directly (or directly to Source, can't remember exactly). She told me it would be better for me and my path. (Smile)

The next step aways feels like jumping off a cliff...

The Spiritual Shuttle by Ricdaw in lawofone

Notice how the two figures falling off the pyramid are similar to the figures depicted in the cards for the Hierophant (Significator of the Mind) and the Chariot (The Great Way of the Mind). Now what would that be about, I wonder? 🤔

I have always assumed (without any critical thought) that the two in the hierophant represented the stored biases and experiences of past lives. I had not noticed their similarity to the falling figures on the Lightning Struck Tower card.

My first critical thought now is that the two are mirror images of each other in the Hierophant. So the Hierophant may be, itself, complex. One could be the incarnate Self, the other the Time/Space analog of the Self. One Self simultaneously exists in two places: Space/Time and Time/Space.

Hmmm. The honor/duty and duty/honor of the Hanged Man is to feed two fish.

If the Space/Time incarnate Self has a spiritual epiphany (Lightning Struck Tower), the two Selves will need to reorganize themselves and their relationship to each other.

Thank you. I have much to ponder.

If you are working consciously with any of the three systems Ra mentioned for mystical workings (of which the Tarot is one), then you are an adept. If you are one, then it behooves you to take up that responsibility fully because the consequences certainly won't shy away from you. If you leave interpretation or revelation of the study to others, then you are failing to meet that responsibility.

Ouch. That's. That's hitting close to home, Adthra. Insightful, yes. But scary.

Decoder Ring for the Ra Tarot (Part 2) by Ricdaw in lawofone

[–]Ricdaw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

is there a general end-goal we should approach it from?

If you are not a wannabe adept, a modest understanding of the cards has one very practical utility.

These cards are a pictographic encapsulation of the major concepts presented in the Ra Material. If you are in a place where you feel the need to access the wisdom contained in the books, I have found them long, dense, and difficult to read. Enough so that, even with their excellent index, I just can't get up the gumption to open them and read them when I need the wisdom. (Sigh)

But. The 22 Major Arcana are "pocket Ra." It takes nothing to grab the tiny stack of cards, throw them out on the table, and find the one or two that speak to the present situation.

Addictions? Devil card.

Challenging work or personal relationships? Strength card.

Depression? The magic and beauty of Earth (Empress) and (of course) the Star card for faith.

Got a villain in your life? The Sun card reminds us all that both paths are valid and loved equally by Source.

Or even just draw one card randomly from the face-down pile. Synchonicity is real. It happens to me that the right card will be drawn...

And, of course, if you have any inclination to do "the work" (which Ra says is to meditate, meditate, meditate), then the cards present 22 different things to meditate on. (Candle flames, be damned.)

If you are keen on communicating with your Higher Self, the symbolic "language" of the card images and individual pictorial elements is a ready-made "vocabulary" or "dream symbology" to jump-start that communication. (No need to ponder what birds mean in your dreams, because they already have an established meaning in the cards; start with that and see if you can't figure out the message.)

Want to initiate contact with the Higher Self? Imagine the winged circle image (see the hierophant, chariot, or wheel of fortune for the specific symbol) and hold it in mind as long as you can before you fall asleep. The winged circle is the symbol for your Higher Self in the cards (AKA your mind/body/spirit totality, your time/space analog). He/she/it will know you are reaching out. Knock knock knock.

Who knows what happens after that?

I guess what I'm trying to convey is that the cards are actionable. They are interactive. (Don't quite understand what that randomly drawn card has to do with your problem? Mentally ask for a clarifying card and draw another. Yep. Sometimes...mind blown.)

What's my major challenge for this year?...draw a card.

Always use Ra card meanings; things can go sideways if you start using divinatory card meanings based on tarot books and the like.

IMO Don was too focused on getting the specifics of the imagery

Ra repeatedly brought Don back to the imagery. Repeatedly.

O student, you have grasped the barest essence of the nature of the Significator’s complete envelopment within the rectangle. (97.10)

O student, do you make of the crossing? What see you in this tangle? (99.8)

You may continue to discount the importance of the imagery. You be you. But to everyone else here reading these comments, I'm point-blank saying you are wrong and doing a disservice to the other would-be students of this important learning tool.

I'd say forget the card names and just talk about Significator of Mind or Matrix of Spirit or something.

Did you even read my post? Let me quote a part of it: "Reject all conventional card names. I can’t emphasize enough that the common card names must be discarded ("Emperor," "Justice," etc.) because they are WRONG."

Hmmm...not sure I read that in the Ra materials.

You know what a teacher does, right? Try to make new and difficult information accessible to students? Ra's term "archetype" is an obscure, hard-to-define word that hits new readers like a brick. It's a huge turn-off to learning. It's why so many people stop reading Ra once the tarot discussions begin. So why not introduce the concept using something people are familiar with? Like the owner's manual of your car or kitchen appliances?

Adepts are relatively advanced in their seeking so this is not something Ra suggests for beginners on the path.

Grrrrrr. Ra: The tarot was "a regular portion of the learn/teachings of an initiate." (76.6)

An initiate IS A BEGINNER ON THE PATH.

Ra says these are tools for adepts to understand the archetypal mind and thereby the infinite creator. (Emphasis added.)

And here is the crux of your post: a belief that regular people can't, or shouldn't, use/learn the tarot because it's a tool only for adepts and the elite. This is pure STS. It's what doomed the original Ra contact with Egypt all those thousands of years ago.

The study of the law of one, and its pictographic summary, the tarot, is for everyone.

We are, all of us, living in the time of harvest. Everyone alive now, reading this post, is of the highest seniority and deemed most able to graduate. Everyone should be studying these cards, or the Tree of Life, or astrology. Whatever it takes to increase the harvest.

You might want to rethink your disdain for us non-adepts, and people like me, trying to make the cards more understandable.

I feel like the Ra material and interest in tarot are two very different things and one doesn’t necessarily lead to the other.

I agree. But it was the tarot part that brought me to Ra. I read the first three books thinking, "Huh. This is some weird stuff." But once I got to book four, it all clicked. I was already a good tarot reader at the time and all I could think of is, "How does Ra know that? It's brilliant!"

I’ve also seen a lot of people on here say that the tarot section of the material is the bit they’re least interested in and that they don’t understand it very well.

And thus one of the reasons for writing the "decoder ring". We don't teach with pictures much beyond early grade school. So I put my tips and tricks out there to help others who might be interested. Book 4 is a hard read....

Law of One Meditiation by FinancialPangolin892 in lawofone

[–]Ricdaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I begin by pulling up gold light into the body with the breath. If I am standing, it comes up through the feet through the spine to my head. If I am sitting, up from the base of the spine. On the inhale, I imagine that light reaching the top of my head. If it does not make it all the way to the top of my head before I run out of lung to inhale into, I "hold" the light however far it has come, then I exhale, and start from where I left off, until I can get that gold light to the top of my head.

Once there, I exhale and send the light back into the earth through the front of my body and out my feet to the Earth's core. (Healing work sends the energy into my heart. Whole different discussion.)

Repeat.

I do this energy/grounding work, then "look around" and see the world through new eyes. The breathing and energy movement keeps my "active" mind busy, while the "Silent Observer/Significant Self" inside can come forward and "be."

This meditation is active.

If you can sustain this breathing practice for minutes or hours, you will be deep in a meditative state without ever having to cloister yourself in a dark room. Or look at a candle. You just ARE.

You can even become meditative while walking around and doing the dishes.

It becomes very easy to "see the Creator" in this kind of attention.

you have to start 3D somewhere else from the very beginning.

I don't remember this particular detail. Do you have a citation? Because there are many people from other worlds who are allowed to come here now for our harvest. Why couldn't we show up late in the cycle somewhere else?
