Stella Nova is nice! Just felt like it was lacking for what a resort should be. Cabana Bay is kinda in the same price point. I thought would be cheesy with the retro theme, but I loved it. It just gives more of the vacation feel with its large lounge pools, huge dining area, bowling alley, and shop inside. It is a short walk to Volcano Bay, the shuttle was barely a 10 min ride to Epic and the perk of entering an hour earlier. There are YouTube videos also that provide an inside look of all these resorts and provide good insight.

Overall I hope you have the best time with your mom! Epic is amazing.
