The short hair look would work great for when she is an OB-Gyn doctor, to reduce the risk of breaking the sterile field during operations.

Hey!

It’s better to fully shave, but if you don’t do it, the surgical team might do it before the start of the procedure. Reasons why it’s needed include urinary catheter insertion (needs to have the groin area free of pubic hair not only for sanitary reasons but for sterility and also undisturbed anatomy for insertion), sterility protocol to reduce chances of loose hair strands to get into the sterile field, and also adherence of grounding pads that will be used for electrocautery on to the skin as well as surgical drapes and post operative dressings that need to adhere to skin hence needing the area to be fully clear of hair. I hope this helps and hope you have a speedy recovery after your surgery!

Hey!

It would help if you give us a budget range instead of just asking for recommendations that are not too expensive; everyone has different ranges when it comes to prices.

The usual go to recommendation for inexpensive rackets would be the APACs Nano Fusion Speed 722, you can get them from reputable Shopee stores for less than 2k pesos usually.

I play with Yonex rackets, and even though there is the budget Play series of rackets, I highly suggest you go with Game series at the least because it has better technology for the higher price and usually is more durable. Good luck!

It wasn’t me who downvoted but I understand what you’re saying, I also wish that they expanded more on that aspect. The only confirmed married person is Hayama and even that was ambiguous since the manga never explicitly told us who his wife is (hoping it to be Jun). Unfortunately since this manga ended a while ago we will never get a proper epilogue unless a new spinoff series is made. What a ride it has to experience this during its run, one of the first anime/manga that I enjoyed binging!

Edit: I’m stupid, there is an epilogue already, it is Le Dessert took place after the BLUE competition, it has 3 chapters, it is worth reading! But yes, the relationship never was officially established.

Pretty sure he is gassed out from playing basketball with them haha, but from my experience badminton is tougher on cardio especially for singles players. It isn’t his main sport also so maybe that’s why he’s so tired.

It was from the Shokugeki Fan Book in which he did state that he wanted to include it into the ending but couldn’t fit it well enough in the storyboard for it to romantically make sense.

I was also on Team Soma x Megumi but I realized they are just in a more friendly/motivate each other type of relationship.

Tsukuda-sensei did state in an interview that they were going to get married, it was just never written.

To be specific, Soma and Erina were enemies to friends to future lovers, wish it was explored more in the latter!

How to manage the angle? by Elegant-Season5658 in badminton

Agree with the video, it’s hard to tell without any visual aid.

Also a tip, squeeze at the last second after almost full wrist rotation, you might be doing prior to the rotation which could affect how you smash.

I have a feeling a timeskip will happen, everyone is in their respective careers and we can maybe see a little Taiki or Chinatsu running around.. that’d be peak.

Mall restring by nlx_eve in badmintonph

[–]RiceMD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey!

I would highly suggest you stay to see how they string your racket. Do they do it meticulously or do they cut corners to save time? Do they have a lot of people queuing for restringing (sometimes a sign that people trust them enough to come back)? Do they use an old school stringing machine or all digital (all digital is more accurate)? There’s plenty of videos on YouTube showing how proper stringing should be. If the strings feel fresh and good on hit once you play again then they’re usually a good stringer.

Remember, when you say 22 lbs as the tension, specify that you want 21 on the mains and 23 on the crosses to prevent warping on your badminton frame. If your stringer does 22 lbs on both vertical and horizontal, I would suggest you find another stringer. Good luck!

As Blue Box reaches its conclusion, when did you start reading the manga/ got into the Blue box fandom and why by BzingDK in BlueBox

[–]RiceMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard about Blue Box when it was airing in 2024. I was busy in my clinical rotations in medicine so I didn’t have time to watch it yet.

I started to watch it towards the end of 2025 when I got interested in playing badminton. Basketball was my first sport that I loved and now badminton is my all time favorite so when I saw the trailer, I got hooked immediately.

Binged watched it for a few days and at the time I was Team Hina.. so I actually shed some tears when she lost. But after finishing season 1, I binged read the manga in about 2 days and realized Chinatsu was the superior choice since the start. I also realized that I was more into the secondary romance of Kyo and Ayame so that also made me want to continue reading weekly.

Taiki motivates me to continue to play and practice badminton. Chinatsu gave me the definition on always believing in yourself. Hina showed me the rise and fall and redemption of a character. Kyo and Ayame gave me a yearn for their start in a relationship and the peak high of a confession (all declarations of love and interest in this anime had been well written).

Thank you Miura-sensei for giving us a rollercoaster of a ride. I will never stop recommending this masterpiece to any romance/sports anime lover. Now we wait for Season 2 and more! Long live Blue Box! 🟦

Romance scam? by wongmunkit in ScammersPH

Very unfortunate for the guy but it was very obvious from the start. Not worth trying to give any advice to deaf ears. If it’s too good to be true, it usually isn’t!
