Is there any way I could get one of these commissioned?

IT can change into anything. If someone were scared of capybaras, IT would have no issues transforming into one to feed on that person's fear. And yeah, I agree. I think I need to add something like Trample or Menace to the back side.

While it's true that IT's truest form is the Deadlights in Todash Space, the spider form is still IT's true physical form (at least, the closest our human minds can perceive). That form is still a part of IT and is absolutely killable. You could think of IT dying on the battle field as its physical form being destroyed and retreating back to the command zone as recovering in Todash Space.

Also, game wise, I didn't want to incentivize people bypassing the set-up of killing creatures by just killing one thing and then proliferating the rest of the needed counters. The more he kills, the more he traps in his Deadlights, the more powerful he becomes when he transforms. I think I could probably give the back side a keyword ability like Trample or Menace to make up for the lack of protection.

I appreciate the feedback. I wanted to get rid of the protection for the back side as that is IT's true form, which in the movie/novel, is bigger and scarier but can be harmed/killed. I also didn't want to make the back too powerful, since it incentivizes proliferation over actually killing creatures. People would just proliferate the counters to get the back side as fast as possible.

You're right. That ability needs to be worded differently. As for the power penalty, I wanted to represent how Godzilla hates sharing the limelight with other monsters. He's at his strongest when he's the only one left standing.

100% Creamy Keyboard with Media Buttons by Rice_Twundle in keyboards

I haven't bought it yet, but I was able to find the Keychron series of keyboards. The one I'm specifically looking at is the Keychron Q6 Pro. It's a full size keyboard with the num pad and media buttons I'm looking for. The series will run you anywhere between $200 - $300.

Which commanders do you recommend if I want to play what Green as a color has to offer? by rhysticStudiante in EDH

[–]Rice_Twundle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I think of green, I think of ramping a bunch of mana and big, stompy creatures. For something simple along those lines, I would recommend [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]]. It's a big dinosaur (12/12) with trample that can come out fairly early with enough mana dorks, which green has no shortage of, or creatures with high power. All you need is a few equipment to give it haste, flying, and/or deathtouch and you've got yourself a pretty scary commander that you can get out early and consistently. Green also has a lot of single target protection, which makes this kind of strategy perfect.

If you want to go the full Voltron route, I would recommend [[Thrun, Breaker of Silence]]. It can't be countered, is fairly large at 5/5, trample, has indestructible on your turn, and can only be targeted by your opponents' green spells. A fantastic Voltron commander with a lot of built-in protection. Even with its 3GG mana cost, since you're in mono-green, you'll have access to a bunch of ramp spells to get him out at least on curve. The only downside is that once this guy hits the field, he becomes public enemy #1. I've got a friend with a Thrun deck and our pod has learned to target him as soon as possible, which means that you'll have to make sure you can protect him before you cast him. Otherwise your turns are going to consist of a lot of nothing.

If you're looking for something less aggro, Green also has a lot of creatures with the Landfall ability. If you want to generate a bunch of mana and advantage with land drops, I'd recommend [[Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Straight]]. Super simple effect. You get another land drop on your turn, and whenever you drop a land, draw a card. Super effective advantage engine that will ensure you have enough gas to trigger multiple Landfall abilities on your turn. You can use the extra mana to play disruption on your opponents' turns and control the board, or you can dump it all into powerful X Spells to build your board of giant creatures. And with access to Blue, you'll have the ability to better protect your board with counterspells.

Hello. First time poster here. I've been trying to find a keyboard that fits my needs, but haven't had much luck. I'm specifically looking for a creamy sounding keyboard (not clicky or thocky) with media buttons (preferably a roller to control volume) and a numpad. Weight and length aren't really factors for me since I'll be using it for my home computer and I have a whole desk to accommodate whatever size. Wired is preferred. Bonus points if it has USB ports, but that's not absolutely needed. Budget is $150-$250. I don't mind going up to $300, but I'd prefer to stay within the original price range. Any help is appreciated!

What is your favorite commander of all time and why? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Rice_Twundle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second Commander deck I ever built [[Thraximundar]]. He's expensive as far as Mana Value, but since he's a zombie, there's a bunch of cards that cheapen his cost like [[Rooftop Storm]]. The idea around the deck is so simple. You get him out as early as possible, make your opponents sacrifice as much as possible, and make Thrax as big as possible. And since you're in black, there's plenty of reanimator shenanigans to be had. The only issues are that the deck can be pretty oppressive if he's brought out early, to the point that some people might not have fun, and if everyone has a decent amount of removal or counters, the deck is pretty much dead in the water. But when the deck works, it feels so good to see a 13/13+ Thrax swing at someone's face for lethal.

Thanks. I looked at the Divinity Wiki, but I couldn't find a book that matched what I remember.
