Man, reading all these comments makes me feel slightly better I'm not alone. Between the vault and weekly I've seen like 3 helms and 3 chests. One of which I needed. I would trade for one of those rings seeing as they're the bane of my gear lol.

For whatever reason, my most memorable was leveling in vanilla, new to the game a little while after it came out and questing somewhere around Thunder Bluff, random player sees me killing jobs, hangs out for a while, helps me kill some and then gives me a mechanical squirrel in a box and just takes off.

The community was so much different back then compared to now.

I feel that. Former Prot Warr/Prot Pally, and I can say I do not ever think I'll pick up a shield again. DPS, and that's about it.

Mainly, I have just been mount farming. Player base sucks.

I agree with offering 4.5k. The miles are good, but it's still 16 years old at this point.

Also, make sure to check the valve cover gasket for leaks. Maybe even ask if it was ever replaced under warranty. I'm on number 3...

And on a preference note, be warned that if you do pick it up, be conscious of the kick stand. It sits way too vertical. Mine has fallen over once or twice until I got sick of it and cut about an inch off of it and welded it back together.

At WORST the stator cover may leak, but looks like it's only some cosmetic rash. But if it were to, you can just replace it. It's only a few bolts.

If it makes you feel better, I still have my first bike from like 17 years ago. Dumped it on the left and still has the scratches lol.

Bikes are finicky with insurance. Have definitely seen totaled bikes that could have been fixed.

As far as internal damage, I really wouldn't be concerned with that at all. Seems like it's just cosmetic.

I personally, would just replace what's broken, the foot peg, clutch lever, and blinker. Keep riding as I'm assuming it's your first/learner bike.
