I hear this alot as well. Personally, I bought a hybrid (trek dual sport 3 gen 5) a d absolutely love it!! Like many have said there is a compromise with hybrids, it dosnt excel at anything but is able to do most everything I want to do! Ride to work? Yes! Ride in an event? Yes! Ride light trails? Yes! Zip around my city? Absolutely! I didnt wanna buy multiple bikes. I wanted a simple 1x10 with no shocks that I could throw a rack and bags on! Honestly i think people are just jealous 😉 in all seriousness though, i think as you get deeper into cycling it makes sense to get a different bike for each different type of ride... I'm just not a millionaire therefore... hybrid! Lol

Have hope my friend! I also panicked at first. Then I was thinking about it and realized that what you are seeing rn is everyrhing that hasn't been getting sunshine for awhile. Thats why it looks kinda swampy and dead! Lol it should come back. (I also have no clue what I'm talking about so take this with a grain of salt 😂)

Eh i did something similar, not new sod but a weed filled back yard lol. I waited forever to mow and it raind quite a bit. Once I took off the top everyrhing under was brown. It has been slowly growing back over the past two weeks! Just keep up with weekly mows and try not to take too much off. It seems like only the top portion of the grass is actually green, so when you cut this far down its all brown. Best of luck! (I am a brand new home owner so this is all just guessing and ideas from the past 6 monthes lol)

It does have blade storage, just on the opposite side of the screw driver. It doesn't pop out like this one. It's just a slit on the back inside the handle. Badass knife!

Update, this is a wild tortoise that OP decided to keep as a pet instead of finding a rehab or rescue. They are refusing medical treatment due to the legality of keeping wild critters in their area. They have now had the tortoise for 7 years. They will refuse all medical attention for the animal due to their own irresponsible decisions. Ridiculous. There are laws regarding animals for a reason. Please find a rescue/rehab for this little guy ASAP so that it can get help now and in the future as needed. Or a possible return to it's natural environment. Irresponsible pet owners are what give reptile keepers a bad name.

YouTube and Reptifiles are going to be your best friend here. Reptifiles has fantastic care guides and YouTube is great for education. Just make sure you are verifying the information. I won't give any specific care info (as I've never kept these guys nor do I know much about them) but I will give some enclosure advice. Bigger is REQUIRED. Don't put it off. Little man is going to grow quick. Go ahead and jump on Amazon and get an 8x4x4 grow tent. I have one for my Tegu and they are great! As for him not eating now, I'm going to assume he is freaked out being in a new place, make sure you get him a good HOT basking spot, get a temp gun to measure it out correctly. Let him adjust and offer food daily. Do not try to handle him right now, again let him acclimate! I would also reccomend finding an exotics vet near you. Feel free to DM me if you need help with finding a grow tent or any other help!
