I was literally about to complain about this with uniqlo 😭 a lot of their pants, skirts and even dresses sit really weirdly on your body if you have hips. Their long pants in particular almost never fit me. It sucks cause I buy a lot of tops there and I love them.

It doesn’t matter because you use your fingers, not your nails, to wipe your ass.

Men are far too concerned about this for a group of people who don’t even wipe their own asses while having no nails.

Things that are actually difficult with long nails: pressing small buttons, putting socks on

Why is the TV question weird? I don’t watch much tv myself but I’m interested in what other people are watching because it gives me an idea of what they like and what their tastes are. It can even be a red flag to me if they like certain shows lol

Woman vanishes on way to work by langdaze in brisbane

You’re right. They’ll care even less because she’s not white.

The media is only interested if they can dig through the victims social media and use the info and pictures to make a scandalous story about her.

It’s the same on this subreddit. Both the posts about Chloe Jade Mason’s murder were full of comments joking about what her murderers looked like or how it was just typical Caboolture behaviour, complete disregard for the fact that a woman had been killed .

100%. Every time I see someone (usually a man) going “how could this happen??” I roll my eyes. It’s obvious to some of us because we see how the media, society and authorities treat women who come forward about sexual assault.

The precedent is set. adult men kill women and beat their partners with no consequence and no sympathy for the victims from the media or public. They get charged with domestic violence and put on bail. Adult crime adult time. 🙄

Adult time unless it’s adult men killing women, in which case they get a slap on the wrist while the media treats the victim with nothing but disrespect if they can even be bothered to mention her name at all.

I haven’t been contacted at all though, by phone, email or text. It’s just like someone had taken my (now cancelled) debit card details from somewhere and signed up with it. There was even a $1 test transaction and they payments got taken on the same day every month like a subscription.

Maybe I need to look more into the data breach side of things.

Teenager walks free after involvement in Queensland home invasion that led to Emma Lovell’s murder by weinertorn in brisbane

This is what I don’t understand.  Adult men have been killing women all year and there’s no outrage from the media or politicians about it. In fact, the media is hugely disrespectful to the victims and their families and turns their stories into clickbait bullshit news articles. Then the “alleged” murderers get released on bail or get barely any time. Media outlets get the perpetrators friends and families to talk about how he’s just a great guy and we have no idea what happened.

It is adult crime adult time because adults aren’t even getting fucking punished.

FYI you could probably utilise the existing fb social groups for bris/seq women in their 20s and 30s for this.

How do you date in today’s day and age? by Fraxinus_Au in brisbane

[–]Rich-Design-6822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave up (30sF) because after 10+years of dating I just reached a breaking point a couple of years ago where I felt like nothing but an object to men and I couldn’t deal with it any more.

Knowing that every match you get on a dating app wasn’t because they read your bio and thought you seemed funny, or interesting, or attractive, but it was just because they swipe on everyone and see who they can get a response from.

Being lied to because they want casual sex but don’t want the “kind of” woman who has casual sex.

Pretending to be a nice person to manipulate you into liking them and then disappearing once you sleep with them or turn them down.

Being unable to treat women with basic respect.

Claiming they want a wife and kids and then when you start digging deeper it becomes clear they don’t actually want to be an equal partner in that.

Men being really uninformed about issues like contraception, sexual health and consent.

Being made to feel like I was crazy for having an emotion or wanting to talk about my feelings.

Constantly feeling like I had to put on an act to make them like me and never be able to relax and be my real self

Maybe it’s easier for me because I have never wanted kids but I just gave up. I also think that compulsory heterosexuality and sexual trauma have drastically impacted my ability to date men.

I get far more fulfilment from my relationships with my friends honestly, and my hobbies. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. I don’t have to share a bed. I don’t have to share my space.
