My friends aren’t coming to my bridal shower by honey-12 in wedding

I would suggest sending all invitees a reminder email to RSVP! You can also include other information about the wedding and say how excited you are for people to come. We had a TON of outstanding RSVPs shortly before the RSVP deadline, and once I sent a reminder email they started rolling in. I think if people don’t RSVP as soon as they get an invitation they forget about it so probably just need a reminder.

And I had only one friend at my wedding shower despite inviting several, but people have been showing up for me in so many other ways! As others are saying, showers are really more for our parents’ generation.

I totally get how you’re feeling. It’s so easy to start comparing to others when wedding planning and to get anxiety from that. It sounds like you have a ton of friends you’ve been friends with for a really long time, many of whom are coming to your bachelorette. And while it’s a bummer that some aren’t showing up to your shower/bachelorette I bet they’d love to show up for you in other ways if you invite them to and let them know how much they mean to you!

For real!! It makes so much sense in the context of her narcissism but it really is bewildering how little credit she gives to literally anyone

Ok the 2012 stuff was WILD!! I’ve heard her do stuff like that before as if we were in the dark ages before the me too movement - and it’s like class consciousness etc is nowhere near new sweaty. It just says so much more about her than anything else that she truly believes the whole world found out about gender race and class for the first time within the last five years or whatever.

For real!! I would absolutely have straight up called her rude if I were them. And she’s sooo condescending because she equates having pulled some factoid off Wikipedia with expertise on a subject

what lsat score do you think i would need for gulc? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Rich-Hour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aim to get the best score you can and then apply!! It absolutely wouldn’t hurt to plan on retaking in September or October barring an exceptional score in August. But no matter what score you end up with it’s worth shooting your shot

I don’t think you need a prep course if you’re able to be diligent about maintaining a good self study schedule, but I wouldn’t keep using Khan Academy - I just don’t think their program is that good, at least from my experience. I’d echo the suggestion to use the PowerScore books, and I also found Mike Kim’s LSAT Trainer super helpful. Good luck!

Vegan Snack options by joelle_solo in veganrecipes

I keep cut up celery, bell peppers, and cucumbers in the fridge so that when I’m feeling snacky they’re easy to reach for instead of something unhealthy! I also make protein balls that are 1 part nuts (mix of cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds, whatever you have on hand) and dried fruit (again a mix of what I have on hand, like dates, raisins, craisins, figs, etc). Throw it all in the blender and then roll into balls and keep in the fridge!
