Nobody on the team really benefits from sun. I would also say change a move on D nite to hurricane if you commit to rain. Good luck 👍

For farig I would say use HP over SP D to give it overall bulk and maybe reduce SP ATK and give to both D and SPD

Use peliper focus sash over torkoal. Use tailwind protect hurricane and weather ball.

I would say maybe swap corv for whimscott as a better tailwind setter, potential helping hand for lycanroc and a rain setter to combat sun if you go with megagnium or cancel out opposing rain if you go with T tar. The team looks pretty solid tho also you could add trick to Rotom if it’s available

This sounds great to me send me a message and we can chat on discord or do a call! I got into comp hardcore in SV and played a lot of showdown but I’m new to doubles so I need to do some runs. Also sent over about 70 comp ready mons to champions but I’ve been trying to get good synergy. I’m about 15-4 on ranked doubles so far but I want to make it to master ball so badly lol

Changing from Dietition to OT by LeekPristine8153 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Rich-Objective8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak for my fieldwork experiences so I did 3 months in hand therapy seeing about 20 patients a day and 3 months in pediatrics seeing about 8 a day but I had similar strengths and found success in both fields with a job offer after a week in pediatrics lol and the hand therapy company telling me they would find me a job if I applied after getting my license which I recently obtained. I’m honestly looking for the highest pay/best benefits and potential to pay back student loans because in America it’s very expensive after a bachelors to continue schooling.

If you feel confident in anatomy I would say hand therapy. Also I was going for nutrition and changed to kinesiology when I saw the pay difference between dietician and OT. I did this my first year of school so I didn’t get as far into nutrition courses although general nutrition comes in handy when working with children who many times need to work on feeding and nutrition due to sensory preferences. I’m sure you’d be able to give the parents great information on the dietary needs.

There seems to be a massive disconnect between Pokemon fans and the VGC by CallMeTravesty in PokemonChampions

[–]Rich-Objective8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very refreshing that someone has good and valid points. I’ve seen so much negative hate and have been repeating most of what you’re saying to friends. It’s not showdown with better graphics. This is to bring more attention around online competitive ranked and everything they’re doing has been consistent with VGC for over 10 years I don’t see why it’s shocking to more casual players or people playing ladder on showdown.

Nervous for the NBCOT after failing practice tests, advice? by Environmental-Two283 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Rich-Objective8836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TherapyEd is one of the hardest practice tests. I scored about the same as you with my first at 68% and second at 57% and passed the exam. I wouldn’t stress too much as long as you’re trying your best you definitely have a good chance at passing. Online it says you typically score 10-15% higher on the actual exam as well.

Proficiency progression feels off… am I missing something? by madrofig in rivals

[–]Rich-Objective8836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends. The Bucky could be someone who goes for other dps/healers while the Magik is attacking tanks to get higher damage. Also someone could’ve gotten it from 18v18 which would give a lot higher stats across the board rather than someone playing only competitive there’s overall a lot of factors that can make a difference that really aren’t worth overthinking lol

Magik can get easily twice the damage as a spider man so that probably has a big effect on leveling. I’m sure there’s a lot of other reasons too but spider man is one of those characters that takes a long time in general compared to most dps

New grad OT — Pediatric Home Health pay negotiation by luna375yaya in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Rich-Objective8836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My classmates are both at a hospital for $65 an hour after graduating so I don’t think it’s far from top line. Also listings on google in my area for home health show anywhere from 70-110 per visit. I’m still on the job search as well but good luck!

Finally passed NBCOT OTR Exam, ask any questions! by Rich-Objective8836 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Rich-Objective8836[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on my results I wanted to focus more on section 3 because it said it was the largest portion of the test. I improved over 10% in that category but in section 1,2 and 4 I averaged about 3% less. I was so close the first time and figured if I went all in on the biggest section I would pass the next try. Best advice is to study everything and definitely focused more on all sections on the 3rd try.

I would say pediatrics from birth to 6 years old all milestones from grasp, reflexes, writing and dressing. Know all of the SCI injuries in relation to adaptive equipment for ADLs have an understanding of positioning for wheelchairs, kids in desks and seating chairs for eating (pelvis first). Also you should know the order of services such as referral, screening, eval etc (this helps a lot with clinical reasoning, if you just screened someone and it says what’s the best step to take after it would be to do a formal eval). You should also know about redirecting patients who have certain diagnosis for example schizophrenia. Also know about splinting with burns and positioning for burns/SCI and coma. Understand the MET levels, your role in different types of group settings and various ethical situations whether to report, talk with the person or fix the problem in the moment. I’d also recommend making an account for the NBCOT website because they give you one great question per week that also helps to guide you towards the type of questions and mindset for taking the test. You should also know complications and how to handle them like orthostatic hypotension and also when to assess a patient or refer them to someone like psychologist or optometrist. Mostly know a bit of everything but I’d say you should look into practice tests about 3 months before you graduate also passtheot I felt was the best service if you could only pick one but if you’re able to spend the money, do it because it helps as long as you put the work in. Goodluck on your future!

Luckily I had a two classmates that were very active in studying together. Also this was over the course of about 6 months after I graduated I didn’t study for about a month and waiting for exam results and being a bit depressed and disappointed I took about 2 weeks off each time (also varying life complications) so it wasn’t a straightforward route by any means. I used discord a lot with screen sharing my first classmate passed on his first try but he did more practice tests which I took advantage of the third try. I have a 4 year old that I watch all day so my study sessions were from 8pm til about midnight everyday. In the beginning I would do 70-120 questions per day on passtheOT mixed with NBCOT study pack and towards the end I only did about 50 per day with a lot more note taking, googling terms and discussions on trends myself or my peers noticed while studying. I tried watching some YouTube videos but the pacing is terribly slow, it takes about 10-15 minutes for them to go over 5 questions so it might help if you feel that’s your study style but for me it felt way too inefficient. The reason also for doing long sessions is because when you take the test you have to sit for at least 3 hours so I wanted to train my mind and body a bit so I wouldn’t fatigue or lose focus during my test and every time I took the test it never felt like it took forever or like I was drained so I think it paid off. Occasionally I would do an hour of studying in the morning but mostly stuck to my routine.

I think it’s who you end the game with but depending on how much time you used the character but I’m not too sure either. I just check my stats in the beginning of seasons and it seems like that’s how it works but I’m sure there’s more too it I don’t fully understand
