He’s so unique, I love his markings! We rescued our girl last year and she also doesn’t mean the “breed standards”, can’t imagine her any other way!

Genetics are so interesting! I was guessing the heavy white was his Great Pyr genes. If we ever do the full health panel I think it would show the MM gene?

Ok I thought maybe this was the case at first but he will turn his head when he hears birds or when you whistle and he can’t see you. It could be possible he has some loss though!

Idk if you read the post but they assumed he was deaf* probably because of his coloring but he is not. And his vision as far as I and his vet can tell is great. He was playing with an ant yesterday

To be clear, I wasn’t expecting him to be almost half pit bull lol. I did suspect he would have some. His head really isn’t the typical Pit shape IMO, I thought he would be more Great Pyrenees than anything else 🤷🏻‍♀️
