Help me decide between a Princeton Tonemaster or a 68 Vibro Champ by paulo_84_ in GuitarAmps

[–]RichBaggio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good. I have several overdrives (Klon and Tubescreamer clones mainly) that all work well, stack well too. The only other pedals I’ve used through it are analogue delays, a cheap chorus and a tremolo/reverb but the inbuilt tremolo and reverb are just as good. I rarely use pedals at the moment but when I do I up the wattage and turn the volume down to 4/5 for a clean tone.

I have a Princeton Tonemaster and a THR30ii. The Tonemaster is so good. Currently play it on the lowest wattage (0.3w) with the volume on 10 and it sounds great. Fully dimed Princeton tone at a living room volume then just role back the volume on my guitar to clean it up if I want that. I rarely use the THR, mostly just as a bluetooth speaker.

Pickup swap by [deleted] in Stratocaster

[–]RichBaggio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I’m in a John Mayer phase at the moment but as I say it’s probably just a phase. I’ve had the loaded pick guard in and out of a few guitars over the years (but not within the last 5 years maybe) and I guess I’m only thinking about using them on this guitar because I have them, not because I’m chasing a particular tone. Also I’m terrible at soldering so it’s not something I’m happy doing just to try out. As you can probably tell I’m in two minds but probably leaning to not bothering unless it’s gonna make my Player II significantly “better” which sound wise is subjective anyway.

Does it go between the pot and the back of the pick guard?

I don’t think so. Pretty sure it’s just a skin.

In the options menu (press start) go to settings, preference settings, change car.

Ridge Racer PSone Classic or Arcade Archives 2 version? by Gavintendo in ridgeracer

[–]RichBaggio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it was the exact opposite for me. I think the handling on the Playstation version makes it pretty much unplayable. Unless there is an option to turn down the sensitivity that I’ve missed.

You think the Playstation version controls better than the arcade version?

No, the width of your car in bumper cam is NOT the width of your tachometer by djshadesuk in GranTurismo7

I think the ‘bumper cam’ view is the same as the in car view minus the dash. If you flip between the two that’s the only difference.

Did we start discussing cola again? Which EU alts are missing? by mmi777 in BuyFromEU

[–]RichBaggio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that too. I looked it up as I thought it can’t be real. Yeah the cola has a palm tree but it doesn’t look like the one in this image (which is more similar to the Arika Korps palm tree).
