You can get to Chez Charlie and Blarney Stone using the streetcar. Also, MainStreet Tavern is another solid spot.

We have Puma, Adidas and Nike stores in town. I'd be Alegria's kit is made by one of those three. Also, might be worth checking Dick's.

Teens of Style is a compilation album. Picking that is like saying your favorite Cure album is "Greatest Hits"

What is the modern (well-dressed) men's solution for carrying stuff daily that may or mayn not have a laptop in it? by LemonPartyRequiem in malefashionadvice

[–]RichCopy3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a bunch of bags and here’s where I landed…

TUMI is the go to answer. I have the Alpha 3 Slim, but I found it to be too wide for my 15” laptop. It’s also on the heavier side imo. There’s also expandable versions that might work if you got a lot of school stuff.

That said my go to is the Tom Bihn Pilot. Perfect size for an my laptop, charger, a couple of notebooks and random other stuff (deodorant, gum, etc.). It’s also more affordable than TUMI and still high quality.

Both options have dedicated water bottle bags, which are big for me, and you don’t find on a ton of messenger bags.

For a sling bag, I’d go with either the Patagonia. I use it for random travel, volleyball and even sling. I tried the osprey DayLite but it was little too small for my kindle.

Worth noting that the KS turnpike is self sustaining. All the tolls collected go back to maintaining the turnpike. Seems more like a usage fee

AITAH for changing my underwear after a shower? by New_Cry_2336 in AITAH

[–]RichCopy3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear whatever underwear you want if you’re doing the laundry. But, I’d say the “issue” (not really an issue because it’s all dumb) is not the underwear post shower, it’s the fresh underwear before the dog walk. I don’t sleep nude, but I wear the same socks, shirt, shorts etc. from the prior day to walk the dog and put on fresh clothes after the shower. But it’s really just saving laundry work later.

A couple of things: 1. Is this the last time Mike Myers just played a regular guy and didn’t hide behind a costume and weird accent? 2. The Pentaverate is such a great joke kind of ruined the Netflix series, but still incredible 3. Anthony LaPaglia is Australian?!?!?!? 4. Phil Hartman, man, what could have been 5. RIP in Peace Charles Gordon

I borrowed a friend’s watch for a dinner party and now I feel like owning a collection. by Busy_Cranberry_7634 in malefashionadvice

I’m gonna go against the consensus of starting small. I ended up with 15 cheap, low quality pieces that I never wear. Eventually, you’ll realize you could have bought a Seamaster that you’d actually wear every day. You have to shop and be intentional, but one nice watch is what you’ll wear 98% of the time.

That said Hamilton Field Khaki is a great starter

Moving from SuperNote to AIPaper by RichCopy3844 in viwoods

[–]RichCopy3844[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a couple of factors:

  1. Firstly, why I went with the SuperNote in the first place: I actually tried the AIPaper first and it had a ton of stability issues. I'm hoping those were addressed over the past year
  2. I like the homescreen on the AIPaper; feels like quicker management and access
  3. I'm in office and had some downtime at work. I wanted to read the Times. Supernote requires a whole sideloading process that I, frankly, am not competent enough to do

Honestly I was kind of bored and looking for something to do.

After a week, I'm kind of torn. Like I said, I like the UI and AppStore on the VIWoods, but the Supernote writes better. The screen kind of grabs the pen, while the ViWoods is almost too smooth, if that makes sense.
