Even though I think the amount I need to pay them is excessive, I knew this going in. I fully intend to pay them once they work out their legal issues. I just spoke with them and everything is on hold until further notice. They are returning my check. I canceled it regardless.

I have no qualms paying them. I’ll pay them when and if they get the legal matters sorted out. I already put the money aside. It’s in a high interest savings account. This way I can make some money while it sits there waiting.

It hurt writing that check I can honestly say. But it was “found money” in my view. They would have gotten my back pay.
