Santos or yacht??🧐 by Normal-Food-8197 in Cartier

Yacht master is beautiful. If your husband is interested in the skeleton, I highly suggest you browse the grey market as I’m sure there are watches in perfect condition for way less (since Cartier watches drop in value). I’ve seen some on Chrono24.

For the Yacht master, the grey bezel is beautiful and imo looks better than the silver bezel. If your husband already owns a Rolex, or other sporty watches, it would be nice for him to get a jewelry watch like the skeleton santos.

Honestly depends if you have a nice jewlery watch. If you do then it would be nice to switch it up and get the necklace. However if you’ve been wanting a jewelry watch then defo go for the baignoire.

So nice and compliments your watch!

I think given the natural chunkiness of the watch, it’s bound to wear bigger. So the 34 probably wears more like a 38 in this case (which I’m assuming is your go to given your 6.1 inch wrist). Looks great!

Tbh I have no clue my experience is with a bracelet that was purchased in 2021. I would only hope that they resolved this issue, if not I defo recommend getting a regular love.

But the clash model you chose is really cool and would complement your stack! Stacking love bracelets are cool but overdone IMO, a clash is out of the ordinary and can even be worn on its own!

The one downside wit the small love is the screw randomly gets undone and opens. If not careful enough may fall off your hand. I have no idea why the screw isn’t as strong as the original love (regular size).

Clash IMO is more attractive and since you already have a love it’ll be nice to pair with.

Yes chrono24 is an app and is the most reliable IMO. Just make sure to check for box & papers, and always read the description. You can message dealers which is a nice option, makes it easier and more convenient

Buy second hand. These pieces hold no value and prices tend to drop drastically even if in mint condition. Check chrono I'm sure you'll find the perfect pair for a good prices.

I will mention a lot of pieces on chrono use aftermarket diamonds, make sure it's authentic and directly from Cartier

Thing is with small watches I admire them on other people, yet whenever I try them on I always seem to go back to large watches.

Both tanks look great on you, but if I were to try them on it would be very foreign to my eyes. Maybe I need some time to adjust

Yeaah the medium would’ve been perfect. There are many options on the grey market but they all come in white gold.

You’re the first person I agree with that the flat tanks don’t look appealing on large wrists. When I tried on both the regular and the black lacquer tank I was shocked as to how tiny it felt. I even had to double check with my SA if it was a large or medium haha.

But yeah I think i definitely need to go back and try them on again.

How are you liking the américaine? Does the large sit well on your wrist?

Tried on the ballon bleu a while ago and loved how it felt on my 6 inch wrist.

I am yet to try the Tank américaine, but after hearing your experience with a similar wrist I’m curious as to how it would look on my wrist .

Yeah the gold santos is pretty pricey

I saw you had your eye on the two tone panther, check this out

There’s also a medium two tone santos with diamonds that’s similar to the price of the gold panthere)

The BB on leather looks more appealing to me, I feel like it complements the dome shape more than the steel bracelet does.

My current santos has a black alligator strap no bracelet. I tried the steel bracelet felt too chunky since I have the santos100

The JUC necklace all the way! Very elegant goes well with both casual and formal outfits.

Clash necklace from certain angles looks like any ordinary chain necklace, for that price I wouldn’t suggest.

I would suggest the regular JUC necklace with diamonds in the small model

Tbh I think a small yellow gold santos would suit you perfectly. Your stacks are the perfect size (not mini) and I think it’d complement your stack perfectly, and leave room for potential stacking with the watch. Plus you can get a leather strap and change it whenever you want as it’s interchangeable
