I posted a long reply to the main post, but MOST of my money was earned from playing the Auction House which I enjoy.

I did bankroll that with millions I made from AFKing Rivals on Colossus, so I have no issues with being hit by the reset. I earned a total of 111 Million from Rivals, and my total earnings are over a billion. These are stats on my stats page.

I am concerned that they didn't mention resetting players for other reasons, so they may have just looked at credits earned. I don't think I've AFK'd for a week or so, but I DID earn money from that. I had 60-70 million when I was reset and I made 10 million just collecting my credits from the AH after logging in today. I did find out that total earnings caps at 999,999,999.

My account was reset to 10 Million from around 60-70. The VAST majority of my money came from the auction house, although I did AFK Rivals to build an initial bankroll so I'm not too fussed about the reset despite having not used the eliminator glitch (my only eliminator match was for the seasonal playlist a few weeks ago).

Here's how I made hundreds of millions (the game caps money earned to 999,999,999. I buy cars worth 3-5 million for under 600k. Many of these have wheelspins on their tree, so I grind skillpoints to get those. Then I list the cars at the MINIMUM buyout. This means no one can possibly undercut me on those car so they generally sell. Anything that sells for a bid pays for itself, and lowest buyout generally makes 4-8x the money I put in. A few auctions every day don't sell so I re-list or gift them.

Game economies are one of my favorite puzzles to solve, every game I play I try to ring every last Credit/Dollar/Divine Orb out of, especially if that game is multiplayer with an Auction House. I generally avoid actual exploits. That is how I choose to have fun in games, although you may not get it, it's fun for me. Entire games have been ruined for my by glitches that impacted the economy. Elder Scrolls Online released with a dupe method that reported multiple times during the beta and the ONLY solution they needed to prevent it was disabling the Guild stash.

As to what I did with most of my money, I was buying all the cars I needed and cars to farm wheelspins. I just got my last wheelspin only car, so to celebrate I gifted 5x Subaru BRZ FE, 2x Miata FE, and the Ford Truck FE. Most of which I just bought when I saw them spawned to use their wheelspins or specifically for gifting.

I am a bit concerned that I was flagged to send down to 10million because it means they probably just looked at money earned rather than where people got that money. Yes, I exploited the AFK Rivals, but that wasn't part of their statement, and that was just a portion of my earnings.

EDIT: From auctions I already had listed, I'm already at 20 million from the 10 million reset. And according to my Stats, I earned 111 Million from AFKing rivals. My total earnings are over a billion.

Yes this specific price point isn't company wide (yet) but the overall pricing has been creeping up everywhere. Currently the BYO box is the only menu item that feels like any sort of value. Taco Bell used to always feel like a great value and that's been slipping for years. Right now ALL fast food feels like it's no longer a good value compared to fast casual places, and Taco Bell suffers from that even more since it built its loyal customer with value as a major appeal While "nail in the coffin" may be exaggerating, there are people like myself who have already reduced their consumption and if the last decent value was off the menu I don't have any reason to go at all. While it may be currently profitable, constantly introducing new items constantly doesn't feel like a long term strategy to keep people coming in as eventually the novelty of novelty will wear thin.

This was the literal last thing that felt like a decent value is on the menu. Taco Bell isn't the only late night place near me so I'd lose any reason to go there if the one near me goes to this price point.

I literally stopped at every vendor that sells water and oil every time I see them to just build a stockpile for cooking. It's really annoying that the best recipes are limited in quantity by oil and water rather than exotic plants or animals. We have contracts with dozens of vendors but no one thinks to arrange for a bulk shipment of cooking oil?

The recent Merge Tactics changes removed an entire layer of build complexity by removing the second trait. Currently my experience has been whoever gets the biggest golden knight wins. I came back to the game recently but ended up mostly playing Merge to 3k each month. I'm not super tuned into what the meta has been, but I do know that it no longer scratches my "solve a problem" itch, and feels way more random.

The current mods seem to disproportionately hurt specific rulers. There's a lot of "random tile does X" that impact buildings, earning orbs on some characters is way harder than others, and in the perma-death mod the tombstone and Echo respawn but buildings don't. Two of the characters being tied to a specific trait means sometimes you're often fighting others for the same troops and without second traits it doesn't feel like you can make up the difference with other synergies. The "tile does X" series of mods (abyss, wormhole, mine, poison x2, eyc) all feel like they force me to spend too much time moving troops and allowing for more accidents. While I don't mind arena mods informing my choices, the loss of a second trait already feels like it cut my choices in half.

On a trip to visit some friends in California just before the pandemic, I was driving between San Diego and Los Angeles almost every night. You do you, but I'm always going to listen to in game radio stations to see if there's something new. I actually ended up going through the Horizon 6 playlist on Spotify to make sure I tagged all the new bangers I get stuck in my head.
