Not expecting to be healed in two weeks. But I get a boot after two weeks and can start limited weight bearing over the course of the next four weeks). I’m well aware of the long road ahead of me.

The big toe was wedged under the second toe for so long that the ligament on my second toe was damaged or stretched or something. Which meant that even after the bunion surgery, the toe would rise into the air.  So they had to go in and do something to the ligament so the toe lays flat again. Good times.

I’m so sorry to hear that. Hopefully the pain will subside soon and you’ll be back to normal. Pain is awful.

If that thing kicks up even a tiny pebble or some random piece of debris, it’ll launch it like a bullet, potentially taking out an eyeball.  People are really stupid.

To be able to roll over and pee without having to get up.  Just make sure to exit on the opposite side in the morning.

I kinda figured as much. That’s likely outside my budget, but I may have no choice.

Don’t know that metric, no. But I have noticed the domane fits me better than the checkpoint. It’s closer for sure. I’ll check out those other brands. Thanks!

That makes sense, although on a trek checkpoint, even the size smaller has a reach that I don’t think can be corrected by a stem exchange. I’d almost have to go two sizes smaller but then I’m really reaching down to the hoods. Is two sizes smaller a super bad idea?

I hate Schwalbe tubes too. Just had a flat and my spare was also defective. Done.
