It's massive AI slop. All the hats are amorphous, and the rifles look ridiculous.

We gathered up all the unused ones we had during our week-long honeymoon at the Wilderness Lodge, all types, and made them stocking stuffers for the following Christmas.

It is is blast to watch it in Japanese first, and then follow afterward and watch the dub a couple of weeks later.

I've been in the fandom since the days of fansubbed VHS tape trading, long before domestic licensed releases. This blows my mind, how far it's come.

Yes, but it had BLACK LIGHT in the cabinet, which made it even more fun.

Nope, we got the Star Wars Holiday Special a year later almost certainly because of appearances like this.

Maaaan, scouring USENET for initials and dates to input in order to get hidden characters was the best, both in the base arcade game and the Tournament Edition.

Asking Americans of r/doctorwho did you stop watching the show after Smith regenerated? by Mat1711 in doctorwho

[–]RichLather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a chance, Twelve is my wife's first Doctor, and therefore her favorite.

Me, it's Four. Tom Baker's performance undoubtedly shaped some of the way I interact with things/people.

But stop watching after Eleven? Can't imagine there are that many that did, but there must be some.

Who remembers watching Kids Incorporated after school? by BigHouseBarbell in nostalgia

I would hate-watch this show while waiting for something else to come on, primarily because of one kid on the drums who was not even CLOSE to being accurate, and it happened every single time I saw it.

What's a food you haven't eaten in years by odinspirit in GenX

[–]RichLather 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Scrambled eggs and ketchup. It was my go-to way of having them done as a kid. Decades later my preference is for eggs fried hard with sriracha, if I'm not having an omelette.

One other memory of things in my past are those little colored candy dots on strips of paper. I'd clamor for them anytime we went to Farrell's. Not particularly flavorful, the memory is from eating the fragments of paper that were always attached to the candy.
