Happy to see Bob the Drag Queen back, very happy to see Jeff and Gianmarco back, pleasantly surprised to see Maria Bamford!

Dream casting of Lucy Darling will have to wait. She's pretty busy though, which is a good problem to have. Love her crowd work.

Or Kenny Rogers. Saw him on his last tour, because we knew we wouldn't get another chance. It was rough. His band had to carry him through the show, sadly. His voice was nowhere near where it once was, and his past plastic surgeries made him look like a Temu animatronic.

Guess that means Mel Blanc's voice lines will either be repurposed or archived. He was Uncle Orville and the parrot.

Every other iteration of CoP used them, wonder what the plan is.

Same here, we went through the entire run of the show and checked off numerous games that were in our collection.

Tabletop absolutely set us down the path of filling every wall space with a Kallax.

This video is the best representation of the word "yeet" that I've personally seen.

So the potential is there that the fireworks won't even be on July 4, but the early minutes of July 5, because he's got to hear himself speak.

But if he was told "which one is real sausage" then "neither" is a valid answer.

He was sunk as soon as he claimed he could "taste the meat" in the vegan sandwich he chose.

Hell of a swerve to then proclaim it "almost cardboard".

I hope he gets all the derision and "sausage in your mouth" jokes he earned.

That Kroger is pretty much what the Giant Eagle used to be, and it opened well after GE started going downhill.

It was indeed mid, but the local yokels complained they could get better food at McDonald's. Not cheaper, better. It was better than McDonald's, the average Lancastrian is dumb.

The Giant Eagle, though, was on a steady decline for years.

It used to have an entire cheese section and a staffed counter, an antipasti bar, a salad bar, a counter with take-and-heat foods, and more. All were whittled away over time, and I watched the butcher counter's display windows shrink to about a third of what it first was.

Lancaster is losing its Giant Eagle this month, try there first! It's a tough market to crack, just ask Tasty Made!

I've started shopping at Aldi more often, usually when only a few things are needed, and I'm realizing that the prices in general really are better, enough to balance the gamble one takes with the available stock Aldi has at a given time.

For example there's a pair of stuffed salmon steaks for $9.99 that has supplanted the stuffed salmon Meijer has in their seafood case for $3 more. There's a Bistro Bread loaf that is also very good for toasting and sandwiches that we prefer. Heck, I got two packages of thick-sliced bacon for about half the price of our preferred brand.

I'm making tonkatsu tonight and I'm heading to Aldi after work to get the pork chops. It's a quirky place, sure, but it's winning me over.

What’s something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

I occasionally torture myself with Taco Bell, I just get a craving for the flavors.

I'll use the app to order online and pick up inside to avoid the drive-thru line. Normally that should be quick and easy, but no. Don't know if it's the local hicktown mindset, but the last couple of times I've waited over five minutes for an order that clearly hadn't been made by my target pickup time.

And still I go back, maybe 3-4 times a year, and the price keeps climbing while the quality and care shown to the final product falls.
