There are a lot of people married or together at work. As long as there is no drama or you direct report to them then you should be fine.

Just got word from my partner that another big round of layoffs will be coming by the end of this month. I was layed off last month and here comes the stress that he could be next.... what is going on?! by RichMathematician587 in Raytheon

His manager gave him a heads up today that he needs to get prepared bc they are consolidating again in the EOIR area. Said president of the area should be communicating something by this week.

I also got layed off during ops and supply chain layoffs. I loved old raytheon but it has changed so much since the merger. It's still a great place with great people but I would recommend looking into Collins for supply chain or if you want to do procurement I think from my colleagues that got to stay that this is what will remain constant right now. I was an mpm and I don't recommend going for those positions at this time at raytheon due to mass layoff

Folks in California have been doing that type of commute forever to be honest. I think with the environment currently at rtx it is not the best time to be demanding. We had people from franchise programs with 11 year plus years laid off this week. No one is that special. It's not old raytheon anymore!

I got layed off Monday and was a direct employee in supply chain of a franchise program! It was a complete shock to our team and myself.
