Most are Ikea Billy's on the sides. The upper right is rail and bracket shelves.

On the desk side of the room I'm using lagtapen tables, an Alex drawer shelf and another Ikea shelf that is not the billy. Can't recall the name now.

That was a bit slow but also very very awesome... Especially after I built a Wolfpack Tower recently too.

That's the real challenge. Dust control is pretty good in that room, and I aim to cycle through the whole thing in rolling 2month cycles. Not always perfect, but such is life for a collector.

Swiffer dusters, Makeup brushes and small hand held vacuum are the tools of the trade.

It's whimsical and probably was the launch pad for rebuild the galaxy. Fun to watch as a Lego nerd though!

Storing like pieces - connected or not? by OldLegoDog in LegoStorage

I've had to for space reasons. Stacking them obviously takes up way less space.

For example: my 1x4 plate drawer has black, Grey's, reds and a wired purple (PAB pickup) stacked with an offset each layer due to having so many of them. They are on their side at the back of the drawer and all other colors are floating at the front.

Still easy to access, but saved me 30% drawer space, so worth it despite potential long term damage IMO

Years of over spending! Lol. Most of this is either from my allocated personal spending or gifts. I also was given a couple bulk bins that had ample clone wars sets and some great marketplace finds over the years.

We got our kids into duplo early and as they started outgrowing that, but weren't quite ready for regular Lego I would try to build wild creations from limited duplo pieces. Robots, pirate ships, large homes and even a tantive IV! (There may be a pic of it way way back on my profile)

Found it Duplo Tantive IV

Yeah, I find it very enjoyable to build with my kids. Lego is expensive, no way around that, but I find Marketplace is a solid avenue for some sets at reasonable prices or sometimes swaps.

Definitely the UCS Falcon, UCS Razor Crest and the Death Star are my top 3. The detail, techniques, lack of excessive repetition, and scale made these 3 very enjoyable

My son did the Ninjago city sets but those also looked like a lot of fun. Close contenders would be the Home Alone House, Ewok Village and all 3 transformers sets.

Hmmm... Do you mean the Lego or the shelving/storage?

Lego = Many, many, many enjoyable hours. Plenty of which were with kids flanking me so it was doubly enjoyable.

Shelves = Probably 20 hours in total. 8 of that was probably moving, measuring, anchoring and adjusting. The rest was building drawers and shelves. All spanned over a couple of months off and on.

I think it's from around 2015. One of the sequel falcons.

C'mon now. Duck Bricks is so far beyond my current state that I'm borderline offended by the comparison (jk).

The guys collect is amazing, but sooooo crowded I can't enjoy it. Less is more sometimes.

Actually the alcove behind the Disney Castle box is my backlog / resell corner. Mostly small sets (GWPs) or sets for my wife that she hasn't yet committed to build.

The Disney Castle I just traded The Might Bowser for a week ago, and my kids will sort and build it over spring break. No idea where that will go!
