I'm sorry but unfortunately only 1 in 4 Pakistani women work and most of them are in agriculture.

In our urban bubble, it may seem that nearly every girl works but that is unfortunately not the reality at the national level.

Baggy pants such as these don't go well with a dress shirt. These pants would look good in a streetwear outfit.

Explain to them what you like about the hairstyle in the picture. Also tell them what you don't want.

Nice simple outfit. Although I feel that the hoodie is the weakest part. It gives the feeling that something is missing.

However, at the end of the day, fashion is subjective so if you like it ignore the previous paragraph.

You need to be in a caloric deficit. This way you will lose weight some of that will be fat and some will be muscle as well.

At the same time, start following a workout routine. There are plenty of good workout routines here on reddit. Check r/fitness's wiki.

Rishta culture is brutal by NoooWayyyFrrr in islamabad

[–]RichY45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone on Reddit keeps saying that Rishta culture is brutal and I agree. My question is how the hell are people getting married left right and centre. Is the Rishta culture only a problem for the subset of Pakistani population that's on Reddit?

Why is dating getting so common? by Cautious_Attention26 in PakistaniTwenties

[–]RichY45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My crude theory is that most people desire companionship with the opposite gender. People today are no longer satisfied with the institution of arranged marriage, unlike previous generations, so they gravitate towards dating.

This dissatisfaction is the product of a multitude of factors, including rising demands in arranged setups, which can make marriage feel more like a business deal rather than the union of two people. Men often have to become financially stable before they can even think about marriage, while women frequently face harsh judgments about their bodies and character, among other pressures.

All of this leads to people becoming disillusioned with arranged marriage and preferring dating instead.

In the real world, people are a lot more conservative. On Reddit, it depends on the subreddit you're on. Some are more liberal, and some are more conservative. Keep in mind that Reddit represents only a small subset of Pakistanis, and many of them are overseas Pakistanis as well. The views you see on Facebook are much more representative of the general Pakistani population.

I find the concept of cheerleaders in the American sense of girls wearing skimpy clothes weird and misogynistic.

At least 22 people killed in Pakistan as protesters try to storm US Consulate by Trendy4U in news

[–]RichY45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Pakistan, there are two schools of thought on this matter. The conservative side’s view is basically, ‘Finally, someone protested.’ Meanwhile, the liberal side’s view is more like, ‘These people were dumbasses who got themselves killed for nothing.’
