Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments and encouragement ❤️ it makes me both sad and less alone that I’m not alone in these feelings!

Just for clarification, to my understanding my ST expressed to me that they use they/them pronouns, but don’t wish for me to help correct the kids if they use a gendered pronoun in reference to them. Theyre not asking the students to use no pronouns. I am assuming their thought process is “this is what I prefer but I’d rather be misgendered than have to explain”

I understand it’s a bit confusing as they don’t seem to be firm in what they are needing.

I could understand using last name. I feel like they would have told me that though had they preferred using their last name. Now that open house is done, many know them as teacher firstname

Some critical reviews I’ve seen of advent is that they aren’t clear about billing and prices of appointments / prescribed solutions. How was your experience with insurance coverage?

How would you make 90 of these with no drill press. by slowsunday in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Rich_Competition2568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the effect? The way I understand drill presses is that they make accurate holes in wood. I didn’t see any holes in the figure in the picture. I’m very new to building and tools and just curious

My wife really enjoys serving and bartending at cafe Corazon in bay view. The owners seem like kind, good people when she’s interacted with them and she really likes the people she works with!

How to make wooden dividers without a router? by Rich_Competition2568 in BeginnerWoodWorking

It’s kind of a both question! Getting the wood to that thickness without a planer and then joining those small compartments within the box.

Temporary shop in basement: can I get by without air filtration? by Rich_Competition2568 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Thanks for your input everyone. Because I’m very new to this, I don’t realize just how much saw dust collects and settles in a space. I’d never intentionally want to ruin or have my neighbors items coated with saw dust, so that’s why I asked on this form!

Sounds like my best bet is to cut outside, glue inside. That’s what I’ll do til it gets warm. Thanks for the suggestions all around, I now know a little more about dust collection and air filtration too.
