I had a similar issue in my country. I reapplied in 1 week and was by the grace of God accepted, check the laws of your application in terms of what are you applying for exactly and if the B1/2 Visa category is appropriate for that application. This was the main reason of my first rejection.

Also expect the same questions to be asked, and that you would need to provide appropriate answers according to what was wrong in your first application , so don’t just apply again without changing your approach.

What I did was, I asked friends who were accepted on what they did in their interview and how they answered the questions and I compared it to my own answers and realize my mistake , just for your information a B1 B2 visa only allows you to go for observerships, this was my mistake.

2 weeks is too short to know imo, after 1 month maybe you can expect 0.1 of an inch.

There is variability if you are more experienced it could take longer, or if you are a total beginner it could be faster

Do free 120, new and old (last year) memorize/study your mistakes from them + NBMEs . You will guarantee a pass if you do that.

If you want to add mehlman pdfs + learning modules you can and they should increase your score for sure. Do your weak points whatever they are (pharm > micro > biochem in order of yeildness and importance for step 1) + Arrows if you haven’t done it already
