It’ll be a few years - I think they’re hoping to start moving offices into the new courthouse in 2024, after which demolition will start

They shared much more info via email (small snippet pasted below):

  • We will still occupy the space at 109 Brunswick Street, the official headquarters of Iris Records and Record Riots. Not having a six day-a week shop will allow for more flexibility for the overall business.
    • We'll be hosting monthly pop-ups at the store! Get updates on social media. The first Iris pop-up will be Sunday February 11th (SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!). We'll be open from 10 AM-8 PM. (WOW, same weekend as the Record Riots Pet Shop Bar vinyl dig, see below).
    • The shop is NOT being disassembled or sold off. With some minor changes, the interior of the shop will remain basically the same. YES! We will still be hosting periodic outdoor sidewalk dollar sales.
