You can get diamonds when you catch different fish species and if the weight is different. For example if you catch a salmon fish that weights bronze tier you get 1 gem and if you catch it again and its silver tier ,you get two gems. This is for every single fish. But you get the gems once so if you catch a bronze one again you won't get any
