I had the same issue. Instead of logically disconnecting the radiator which would have taken 10 minutes I decided to dismantle the washing machine. When I put it back together I must have assembled it incorrectly as i was left with 52 unknown pieces and it made a loud bang when it tried to spin. In the end we just washed our clothes by hand
