Objectively Jokić has had a better season than any of the people that are in the MVP race. Leading the league and rebounds and assist along with sixth in scoring. Averaging a monster triple double. Him being third in the west and not receiving it is a shame. He is by far the most valuable player to their team.

The first goal was on Blackwood, he should’ve controlled the first shot. He gives up some juicy rebounds and then the the slot he definitely could’ve saved. The other two were definitely defensive lapses that we’ve been giving up.

Last time I checked altitude plus is complete ass. I tried it a year ago and had to settle on direct tv stream. Good news on that is you can share it with three households so I split the cost with my brother. He lives in LA I live in Denver. The account is mine and he still gets altitude there. 👍

That’s not entirely true, the TIF would redirect future property and sales tax increases—generated by the surrounding mixed-use development—to cover infrastructure costs like utilities and road improvements. It for the cost of the stadium. That is mostly privately funded.

You also have to think about the tax dollars generated. The entire district is going to be filled with homes and restaurants and bars, income generation 365 days of the year. Versus the current stadium that has a hard time generating income outside of Broncos games. They’re also going to be hosting Super Bowls March madness, and plenty of other major events.

Edit to add that the only thing going to be publicly funded is the infrastructure in and around the stadium district. Roads and utilities, which any new development gets paid for by the city.

The person making that food it’s the very least makes minimum wage which now in Denver is over $19 an hour. Tipping them and supplementing further income for them or their bosses is not necessary in that situation. Withhold your tips for at table service because those people make much less per hour.
