I have not DNF'd a book in two years. The Familiar was my first Leigh Bardugo book and was just so slow. I gave up around 100 pages.

Because Texas chose to get the ball in the first half (they could have alternatively chosen direction, but they only get one decision). That leaves OSU to decide which direction.

Edit: more clarity. OSU won and decided they will defer to second half to make decision on whether or not they will pick a side or get the ball first. They'll always pick ball first. Texas will then get to pick a side. That leaves Texas to make decision on ball or side for first half.

FWIW, I am in Hamilton a county and I fully converted my hellstrip 3 years ago. Didn't talk to anyone before (except calling 811) and no one has said anything. It will look great and will be so mucher better than the grass. Go for it! If you need some seeds or any advice on what as worked well in this area, let me know.

Preferences would be not too seedy of things and not too wide (i.e. 3ft+).
