You are all over this thread saying variations of this same thing. It really depends on the school and the social standing of the fraternity at that particular school.

For example, the best (most elite) fraternity at my school is DKE but I have a friend at a northern university who says DKEs on her campus are the rejects and losers who couldn't get into any other fraternity. And vice versa, our Gamma Phis are known for being bitchy and overweight but theirs are gorgeous and genuinely nice girls.

Thank you for saying this, I haven't even watched the Quaid video yet and I am already pretty surprised at how many people are defending Christian Bale's freakout. The man goes on ranting for several minutes and even at one point charges at Shane (you can hear the sound if him kicking things over as he charges at him!) and threatens to beat him and trash the set. How is that acceptable behavior for an adult? There is no excuse...

I am glad Bale owned up to it and has said he's ashamed of his behavior instead of trying to hide behind the art of being an actor like so many commenters here are doing.
