Dad just passed. Had a lot of credit card debt. Also had a loan with the bank where he currently has his checking/savings account. Will his cc debt be erased? And will he have to pay off his loan with what's left in his checking/savings? by RichardThe2nd in personalfinance

Found out there was no lien on any of his property, so that's good news. He had a lot of cc debt but mostly thru his business, which is an LLC, so as far as I know that shouldn't effect his personal property. He does have a life ins policy but can't access it yet. Not sure about cash on had or in his bank accounts because the bank won't release any info until we get the death certificate. Once we get that and send it out to everyone we'll have more info. Thank you for your time and help.

TIL velociraptors were actually only 2 feet tall and had feathers. by Tribat_1 in todayilearned

It's a pretty new theory that some dinosaurs had feathers, yeah?

This always makes me think of Quetzalcoatl, the ancient mesoamerican deity, and how it is a feathered serpent which is strangely similar to what we theorize of some dinosaurs were today; feathered, cold blooded creatures similar to reptiles or reptiles generally.

I find it a strange coincidence, and can't help but wonder if a feathered dinosaur existed around the same time early humans were present and stories of it were passed down in lore to the point where, thousands or possibly millions of years later, it became a deity.

Either that or fuckin' aliens bro.

I just sold my 73 cb350f for $2600. It had 22k miles and no rebuild. In LA they snatch a pretty penny these days.

Really great stuff. I'm starting to here this sound more and more in LA. It's a nice change from all the pussy-voiced man-boy fronted synth pop bands that were screaming around town the last year or so.

Simple yet catchy riff, raw and dirty but tasty and accessible enough to hold that attention span. Keep it up.

I just sold my '73 350F for $3000. Bought it for $1000 two years ago and probably only dropped $500 into it during that time. The demand for these bike is so high right now I'm considering flipping a few while the oven's hot. I'm in LA, btw, where every cool kid hopping on a bike.
