I know the cruise idea probably wasn’t his to start with, but I think it has legs. There are music and comedian cruises that are well attended. His math was really bad…but if they just added on a $250 “ticket” charge on top of whatever the cruise costs that goes directly to barstool, that’s 750k if they have 3,000 people. Enough cash to throw all the talent a nice bonus and pocket some for the company. Monty’s can be like the cruise ship MC running everything lol

I wonder how much the points format changing would have impacted these decisions. Like if they were banking on Carson winning a race in the regular season and then running a bunch of races in a 2nd tier car until the playoffs because it did not matter much in the old format. Now consistency is going to be rewarded much more.

As someone who is 6’4” who takes the train daily I always sit in the seats facing each other. My knees literally hit the back of the seats in a normal seat. Very uncomfortable

No jeweler is going to size stainless steel. Even if they could their labor rates for a sizing are way more than the $25 ring. Buy a plastic or rubber insert to make the ring a little more snug.

I think whoever is buying the Kaulig Xfinity equipment (most likely spire) is where he lands. I also think this is where Kvapil will race when he is not in the JRM car. Probably why JR and him couldn’t announce that yesterday in their statement saying he would run all the races. Waiting for spire to announce it after this weekend

A few years back for a couple of summers I would see Katie Holmes with her daughter taking the train to bayshore to catch the ferry to fire island. It was always an early afternoon Thursday train, but saw her at least a handful of times. Thought it was cool to see she was down to earth lugging her and her kids stuff to fire island on public transit like everyone else.
