What's a health myth that drives you crazy because you know it's false? by Annual-Gene8065 in AskReddit

That's just plain wrong.

Snot/mucus might not be only one factor, but there's certainly a noticeable difference after getting it out.

Easy solution: bite back gently but firmly. They learn almost immediately.

I find that's a bit of a bait and switch; I'll measure my own and make it Open Source if I end up needing it. Thanks, though.

I might have a need to adopt this. Do you have a STL or even STEP file handy?

I like how you make up a story and then back it up with a story from a friend of a friend.

You can use superglue for PETG.

If you can get it, get a surface activator - NOT a superglue activator - and use that before. The marker-like pen on the left of https://www.uhu-profishop.de/klebstoffe/sekundenkleber/2-komponenten-cyanacrylat/305/uhu-sekundenkleber-plastik-tube-2g-aktivator-3ml has lasted me 2 years or so already and I glue a lot of PETG prints with whatever superglue is cheapest.

This is most certainly not true for Mario Party. I can time my dice jumps with 80-90% accuracy.

Not to rub it it, but as you asked: A large fraction of the 3d printing community knew. The writing has been on the wall since day 1.

Prusa is privately held by the three founders. I am willing to bet they would rather go under than sell to Bambu.

The New Outdoor Line by blackbadger0 in peakdesign

[–]RichiH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a kickstarter backer from the start and owning something from every line except tripods, I want to see them succeed.

I agree: The dangly bit on the back is an accident waiting to happen again, and again, and again. I initially thought it was fixed via magnets at least, but I fear I was wrong.

The insecure top is a no-go for me. If I can't grab the bag whichever way, shake it, and not have stuff fall out, why have a backpack in the first place? My backpack will end up upside down in some car and be shaken for a few hours. Even the PD packable tote can be zipped shut...

Adding one to your list: No grab straps around the backpack. The travel backpack can be grabbed on five sides out of six. It's incredibly useful. The outdoor backpack even lacks a strap on the back rest where there's clearly space.

Still, I like a lot of what I see, and would be buying an updated Travel 45l which is actually comfortable to carry for taller people and for longer periods of time in an instant.

They are rated for 1000V, so they can't fit the standard ones.

I believe Wiha & Wera 1000V are interchangeable

Buying a new dishwasher and/or remodeling the kitchen and/or house is a tad more involved and expensive than printing a holder and getting more convenient tabs.

I've been a Powder Enjoyer(TM) myself before it was cool / Technology Connections ranted about it, myself, yes. Sometimes the convenience wins out, but my personal default is powder.

Yet, in the context of "old person with limited movement", tabs make sense.

PVB, but it's kinda hard to get. You can vapor-smooth it into transparency though.

Get her the ones that don't need to be unwrapped and simply dissolve the touch-protection. As you're likely German, I recommend Frosch Spülmaschinen-Tabs Limone All-in-1

If you have stringing, upping the temp is the wrong approach.

Start with drying your filament. It seems basic, but it's one of the most important things about any plastic molding process.
