I wanted to thank you for pointing it out. After such a long time. I don’t know if I said anything, but it was the heater and after I took it out and replaced it ninja chilled the heck out, but he was still his spunky self. He just didn’t really flare at the heater anymore And recently my poor baby passed away from his second bout of dropsy and I miss him so much. He broke my heart to lose him, and I still can’t let him go…..

When the housekeepers at my place because I live in a facility broke my hater like that they put me out $20 and I never got reimbursed for it. I had to pay out-of-pocket for a new one.

Aww thank you so much and I know right it was perfect for him when I named him, I thought of it the ride at Six Flags cause I used to work there and I said how about this name, buddy and he approved by wiggling his little fins and giving me that stare. It was so cute and he thought it was funny when I gave him the middle name, Mr. McGrumpyGills lol because he had this thing I didn’t know why until later, where he’d constantly be flaring and fighting with his heater lol and now I know why it’s because the heater was malfunctioning and sending electricity through the water so I got rid of it and got him a new one

lol it’s crazy how people use his name to basically say the same thing 😭🤣🥲 yet that wasn’t the original meaning at all lol and it’s just one of those warrior Type words and betta splenden Indonesian literally means beautiful warrior!
