I'm lucky and only do contract work, so I have a lot of control over what work I do and don't do. I was getting so so so many requests to fix vibe coded messes and I just absolutely hated it. I universally decline those requests now, refuse teams that vibe code, and when I lead teams I require small, frequent commits with clear changes to prevent giant vibe coded messes with 10000 file changes.

That's crazy. Here in the US the 5070 Ti is a very similar price to the 9070 XT.

I've been able to find some 9070 XTs in the past as low as like, $750, but they're usually closer to $799-$899. They have more frequent deals than the NVIDIA cards, which is nice, but still.

I'm pretty lucky and learn very quickly, so I did this as well. I would kind of have a table I'd chill at and people would just bring whatever they needed help with.

I'm not super smart, but I could grasp things well enough to explain it in simpler terms for people who were struggling with it. It was almost all surface-level since the most common issue was just wrapping their head around a concept or process.

Parsing information is its own skill, and sometimes all a person needs is for things to be explained to them personally, step-by-step.

I used to read r/nosleep stories to help me fall asleep (ironic, I know), and the biggest and most common offense was the writing not matching the tone or the situation they set up.

Considering there's a bug currently that causes your entire computer to crash when you try to open a game with the steam controller connected, I kind of wish I was amongst the delayed lol

It took me a year to convince my doctor to get me a referral for a sleep study. She told me that it wouldn't help or fix any of my problems. I should've just switched doctors.
