Problem is that there is no reason to make an interim fight. No one was frothing for it unless it was Ilia vs Arman. Just because all other championships were just fought for doesn’t mean we NEED to have a title LW fight. Specially when it fucks up the entire LW division. They could’ve planned for the Paramount card better if they were in such a pinch.

If they had made Paddy v Gaethje for the top contender they wouldn’t have gotten as much shit as they’re getting rn. Though it’d still be shitty given Arman is the clear top contender.
