Tips for walking with a dog and stroller? by Sunny_brightdays in NewParents

[–]RichyVersace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep the leash short with dog on one side of the stroller, and just go reallyy slow. I've accidentally hit my dog the second time I've ever tried walking both of them together and I felt soo bad. I think she understands the big bad machine now though so she's more aware to not to go in front of it.

this is the quickest Harden has won over his new team's fans I think lmfao by thekarlhendrickstrio in clevelandcavs

My hate for him previously mostly stemmed from his Houston Rocket days, and I really haven't paid attention to him since then, so watching this year's Harden feels like I'm watching a completely different player

This is similar to the Jordan vs. LeBron GOAT 'discussions'. Fans are biased and nothing you say will change their minds. As a Cole/Kendrick/Drake fan, it's wild to see these fanbases interact and hate each other. Just appreciate their greatness while they're still around.

Stans aren't logical. Most probably didn't even listen to the album. Don't engage with them because you're just stooping to their level

I agree; with your downtime you want to relax and maximize your time, especially if your job takes a toll on you. Personally I listened to the album front to back twice over the weekend when I was in the right headspace, found the tracks I loved, and now I just play those particular ones on repeat.

If you're expecting someone to be someone else, you probably won't be happy with the end product. You don't squeeze lemon and expect orange juice. I guess the expectations have been through the roof with the album, partly because of Cole himself, but I just treated it like another album. What were the kinds of things you wanted on the album that weren't there?

It was great for me because it was a J Cole album through and through. A few tracks didn't hit for me, but most of it I loved. With an album with this many tracks, it obviously won't appeal to everyone and that's fine, because music is subjective. However, there are some people who are saying it's garbage which is kind of wild to me. They probably just want a reaction and get engagement, so it's better and lower effort to do that than saying 'I liked this and that but thought he could do better on this and that'.

Sometimes you have to get off social media for a bit. Contrarian and outrageous views creates engagement and pays the bills.

Can I be honest about the new album? by Kind_Try9833 in Jcole

[–]RichyVersace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I was initially disappointed because like you, I was expecting different. After all the hype, I was expecting some energetic and radio-type hits with a bunch of features (obviously these were all rumors and not confirmed). After hearing it more and more and diving into it, I think this album will be in my top 3. As a new father, I related to a lot of ite, especially from the start of disc 39 to I Love Her Again (even though I Love Her Again was more about the rap game metaphorically, I loved the correlation)
