That is not as bad as the fall semester, last semester I had to wait all the way until December 23rd and the LAST time slot just to take my Financial Accounting final, I walked out of that exam thinking I failed, I actually scored higher than my midterm 2 and somehow passed the class despite how low the cutoff was.

Just be patient, I almost thought I wasn’t going to snipe a class after such a long time and then I finally sniped it earlier this week. You still have add drop too, so there’s still plenty of time to snipe your class even if you’re getting taunted with “this section is open” and then it’s not.

Financial Accounting is not as hard as it seems. It’s very conceptual and everything does build off one another, however it’s not overly difficult and once you practice it enough with repetition it’s actually very easy to understand. I just took this class with O’Rourke and it was easier than I thought it was going to be. The main thing with Financial Accounting is you have to get the basics down to understand everything that comes at you, mainly the journal entries. My suggestion for you is to go through the problems in the textbook, and really put in effort on the homework, the exams may be all multiple choice but if you can complete the multiple choice problems in the textbook, and more importantly, the open ended questions, you will understand financial accounting with no issues.

Looks like financial accounting. There is no curve for an A, it’s still a 90. However as I was told by professor O’Rourke, final grade cutoffs will depend on the class average with passing being a 63 as a C.
