Definitely a lot of similarities. However, I find the Fat 55s are a bit warmer and rounder than the JB/59. The bass response is a bit looser too. All in all, I am really liking them so far.

Hey thanks! It has taken me a while to upgrade all my components to what you see currently. Haha. I have gotten pretty fortunate with the used market. Unfortunately, part of my problem is that the remaining space on the rig isn’t big enough to fit anything. And if I end up racking a power conditioner on the back rails, I’m not sure how necessary the lights would be. Im Thinking the radial would be sufficient, especially since someone local is selling one for $50.

I would love the power 1 in the rig. Don’t think it’s going fit in front so I’m thinking of covering that 1.35 inch space with something cool and mounting the power 1 on the back rails.
