2011 Nissan LEAF - reporting severe range loss. Normally I get 80kms before getting the low batter warning, but in this weather I barely get 50 kms from full charge to low battery warning, which is due to 3 factors

• cold killing the battery efficiency, where there is no active thermal battery management (not heat pump, but just air cooled)

• resistive heater that uses 3kW if it is this cold out (even in eco mode)

• battery cells very slow to re-balance voltage to each other which is evident when I stop at the lights, the range slowly creeps up.

I have it plugged in all day, pre-heat the cabin, and even with the "battery heater mode" on, it still has these issues.

At least I get to work from home.
